yea, its me again, im really unhappy that it cant work. u can answer really simply like: 'I dont think the Sims 2 will work cause u have windows 98.' simple. then i'll jsut install XP or 2000 on mi comp or just GET new comp (cause i need one anyways. the mouse freezes...but I can unplug the mouse and plug it bck in (it works)...) why did i put a bracit in a bracit? can u DO that...??

Heyy guys. There's this thing about the Sims 2. And I'd been waiting for about a few months to GET the game. Once I'd got it, me and muah sister installed it. we were both excited. but i was really unhappy because it said: Could Not Load Game or summit abd it said u must install directx 9.0. or wat eva. so i went to install it and wen i went on "My Computer" it couldnt find the drectx thing! So can someone help me? cause by the time it's got working.....we need to find: Uni, Night Life, Open For Buisness and Family Fun Stuff! So can someone help me? I really want to play it. By the way i've got Windows 98. Does that help? But inside the booklet it says: XP, 2000 AND 98 can install this game. But on the back of the CD case it says: windows 2000 and XP have the rights to install the game. Does this help? PLZ HELP ME!!! ;( ;( :x :x :x
