Okay, Okay, I know, AOHell sucks. Unfortunately, so many people have my email address, that I can't just dump it. So I need to keep AOHell software (so I can manage certain aspects of my account) on my computer.
Problem is, since AOHell is for net rookies, they have all these little "helper" files, like the AOLdialer that run behind the scenes and eat up processor speed. Thus, I am BEGGING anyone that knows of a link for AOL 5.O to share it. It was the last decent software that didn't start eating up processor speed. AOL doesn't offer it. Imagine that!
By the way, Just to show you the difference, I have a HT 3.6 gigahertz, 1 gig ram Dell (Let's not even go there on how Dell is following AOHell's path into the abyss). With AOHell 9.0, it takes about a minute to boot down (when it doesn't freeze). Without it, it takes about 15 seconds.
