    Had the same problem with Asus A8V 3500+, 1024 ram at 400mhz, Geforce 6800LE Try changing compability to 95 or 98/ME (didn't work for me but for some it does) If you have a Asus A8V with Realtek for audio, try to update the audio driver via www.asus.com Worked for me!!
