Does anyone know how to remove scratches off a disc? If so please tell me!

Hi okay I have this problem, my sims deluxe isnt working right so i pressed the uninstall button but it just keeps installing again,,, and then stopping at 25% and skipping to 100% but i cant uninstall it i went to the change/remove programs thing and whenever i click remove it just installs again... how do i get the sims off my computer and uninstall it... if anyone has any ideas of how i could get it to work.. or how i could remove it please tell me!

i have no idea when this post is from but i had the same problem... im trying un installing it restarting the computer and installing it.. to see if that works.. did you ever solve this?

Hi Okay i have The Sims 1 and i installed it and that all went okay but then whenever i put the cd in the screen comes up and i press play and then the size i want. and then a screen pops up saying THE SIMS DELUXE but nothing happens and its just my desktop and it wont load and ive waited for an hour and my computer has enough memory can anyone help me pleaseeeeee!!!
