Hi! im having a small problem. im running linux , and we have this server running windows, now on windows there is a batch file called myfile.bat that does some stuff,,, now i want to write a bash script that ssh into my windows pc and automaticaly runs the bat file.... i googled it and i found the following example : ssh User@Host "command 1; command 2; command3" so i ran : ssh myusername@myhost "c:\ftp\admin\myfile.bat;" and it doesnt work.... but to test it i ran : ssh myusername@myhost "echo mytest > mytest.txt;" and that works perfectely it creates the file and everything... please can someone help me with this!!!! thanks in advance!

Hi, im haven a serious problem! I have a machine with 2 user accounts... 1 Administrator and 1 Limited account... if i VNC in there i can get in but when i log-off the limited account to log in at administrator i type my password and press enter..or green continue button ... then my vnc just closes! Please HELP this is really important!

Hi! Hope you guys can help me! Ok i'm setting up a few pc's and i want to run group policies on them, im using mmc.exe .. Ok i want to be able to disable run, my documents , my computer the hdds all that stuff.. now i can do that by loading the local group policy snap-in.. but my problem is i have 2 users on each pc.. a administrator and a limited account... the limited account should run the policy, but the administrator account should still be working as normal! And if I disable all that stuff its disabled on my administrator account aswell... please dudes! help me!

K guys i need your help.. Im running Server 2003, and when it boots up eplorer.exe isn't running.. when i try to run it it says something like: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions. I'm logged in as Administrator.. the top part of the error shows a regestry key and if i look for it in the registry it's the shell32.dll file.. i tried replacing it with a new one, but im unable to do so... thanks in advance

just try running safe mode, start>run>chkdsk -f

reinstall all your codecs(divx etc.) and do a search for WinAVI Video Converter.. that should help!

yeah..u can format with the xp installer

run a registry cleaner

somewhere in vista you can set the entries for the bootloader... right click my computer -- properties -- advanced tab -- under startup and recovery click settings (that's how u edit the bootloader in xp)-just find it in vista!

its because 1mb isnt exactely 1000kbs it's rounded to 1000kbs it's supposed to be 1024kb... not sure but i think it's that like my 160gb shows only 149gb... sucks dont it

you have to set the tv to primary display.. video only plays on primary display it's supposed to be a sort of copy protection or sumfin!

isit the pc speaker beeping or your desktop speakers?
