GravisgamepadproUSB

This controller use to work great when I ran it on Win98. Now I've installed it onto my labtop with WinXP with the latest DirectX software and although the installation had no problem the controller doesn't seen to work at all. I ran joy.cpl to see if it even showed up, it does but when I try to test it or calibrate it it seems that the buttons don't respond. Note: The computer didn't recognize the controller until I updated the DirectX software. Please Help
