I tried, and I still get the DirectX 9.0c error. Any other ideas?

Hey all. Im a noob, but wondered if anyone could help I'm installing Tiger Woods 2007 DVD (a real copy, not some internet crack) I am getting the following error. "Installation cannot continue because the game requires Direct X 9.0c or high to be installed on your system "You can download the latest version here. microsoft.com blah blah blah' Problem is , I ihave the latest version, so how does one get past this so I can install and enjoy the game? Thanks very much in advance! Matt
