hmmm. another problem. Ok so i found out what I did wrong. picked the wrong driver . That being said, i typed in t7gsetup.exe and i heard the computer getting excited ^^. However it quickly gave me this message. this program cannot be run in dos mode. Any other ideas on how i can fix my problem?

ok so i was searching around and some people say to use dosbox. However, I have never used dos before in my life. here is how far I got but i don't know where to go from here. please help mount c c:/my games/7thguest mount d d:/ -t cdrom ioctl >D D:/ dir /w apparently i'm suppossed to just hit d:/>install and it will start. however it is not doing that for me. please help

Hello, This is my first post on the forum so nice to meet all of you. I recently purchased the 7th guest and have installed it onto my computer. Here is some basic information. I am running windows XP. The version of T7G I purchased was the windows 95/98 version. An update from the original. I can run the game but the sound and video was slow. I fixed that with lowering accelerations. Everything seemed to be fine but I encountered another problem. I'll be playing the game and it will shutdown at random times with this message. Unknown asset type--please restart. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Any help is appreciated.
