Hi everybody! Boy, YOU ARE A GENIUS! It also worked for me. I had the same problem: inserting two pendrives simultaneously to the front ports on my computer. They worked fine for years, and yesterday they became unrecognizeable by inserting the second one. I also tried everything else you mentioned, and then I switched off mains. After 20-30 minutes my USB recognized my pendrives! I think I have the explanation: frequent use of pendrives causes an electrostatical load to go through the USB port, that cannot be lead to the grounding. By switching off mains this electrostatic load can disperse to the body of the tower. A genial solution! Thanks again!
