    USB Device Not Recognized (Malfunction)

    Okay this morning my external drive just suddenly wasn't recognized any more. I recvd the messages just as above. An unknown device is not recognized. Malfunction. I did the key entry but so far it has not helped. I'm at a loss. Inspirion 531 Amd Dual core processor 3070 Mem 32 bit OS Man I'm scared I won't be able to access it.
