Workstation Spe[censored]ts WS-X1100 (with 2x NVIDIA Quadro GP100) Review AMD has been using High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) since the Fiji GPU in 2014. But NVIDIA has stuck with GDDR5 for everything but its General Purpose GPU-oriented Tesla P100. With the launch of the monstrous Quadro GP100, HBM has arrived in the graphics-oriented Quadro range as well. Our first taste of this humongous £7K card comes inside a suitably powerful system from Workstation Spe[censored]ts, the WS-X1100. And this boasts not one GP100, but two. Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation - DX12 & Vulkan Short Analysis @ OCC
news posted a topic in Upcoming News
A news post would be great. OCC has published a article on the Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation - DX12 & Vulkan Short Analysis Here is a quote from the article: Quote: â€ÂWhen I initially had the idea to do these tests, I had no real expectations as I just wanted to see what the results would look like. I also did not have the Vega 64 at that time, but thankfully it actually arrived the same day the v2.4 patch did, so I could do some runs with it. I truly did not expect any significant impact by using Vulkan instead of DirectX 12, but that is what we are seeing here for both GPUs. Looking at these benchmark results, which are admittedly synthetic, it seems it is best to keep to DX12 for the GTX 1080, as it saw a drop in performance, even though the CPU frame rate increased. The driver overhead also became more consistent with Vulkan, but if it does not manifest as better performance, there is little point. Of course, this may change with updates to both the game and the drivers. On the Vega 64, however, switching to Vulkan improved performance, even if the driver overhead also increased. Average frame rate and CPU frame rate increased under the newly-added API for this recently released GPU, so it is possible we could see further gains here in the future.†Title: Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation - DX12 & Vulkan Short Analysis Link: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/aots_v24_dx12_vulkan/ Img: http://www.overclockersclub.com/siteimages/articles/aots_v24_dx12_vulkan/001_thumb.jpg -

A news post would be great. OCC has published a review on the Reolink 5MP Security Camera Here is a quote from the review: Quote: â€ÂSo, the new 5MP brings Reolink to a new level of image quality. I was quite happy with the images from my 411WS with its 4-megapixel sensor (2560 x 1440), but wow - the 5-megapixel sensor opens you up to 3072 x 1728 resolution, and that is a significant step up. Bigger is better, right? Well, yes - but the roughly 30% increase in resolution means a fair amount of additional data can be streaming through your network, and if you have an older or inadequate network, then the extra data load may slow you down a bit. Add a few 5MP cameras to your system and you may soon be in the market for a nice network upgrade.†Title: Reolink 5MP Security Camera Review Link: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/reolink_5mp_security_camera/ Img: http://www.overclockersclub.com/siteimages/articles/reolink_5mp_security_camera/3_thumb.jpg

Title: AMD EPYC 7351P ( -at -) Phoronix Direct Link: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=amd-epyc-7351p&num=1 Summary: "Earlier this week we looked at the EPYC 7251 Linux performance as AMD's lowest-cost server CPU from this latest generation of Zen-based processors. That eight core / sixteen thread CPU packed a nice amount of performance considering its hitting the $500 price point, but if you are looking for a single socket system and have $750 USD to lay out on a CPU, the AMD EPYC 7351P packs in even more value."
