Toshiba might have the answer to that with their latest N300 High Reliability Hard Drive For NAS line since the 6TB variant has nothing to be jealous of other NAS oriented models like the IronWolf by Seagate. 2. Corsair Commander Pro: fan, lighting, temperature control w/ Link The idea behind the Corsair Commander Pro control unit is pretty straightforward. If you build a new PC with a bunch of Corsair peripherals that use the Corsair Link ecosystem you will find you are spoiled for choice. You could well use a Hydro All In One liquid cooler on your CPU (and perhaps another Hydro on your graphics card), a handful of HD120/HD140 RGB fans, a Link enabled power supply and a few Node lighting strips. Add that lot together and you may well run out of USB headers on your motherboard, and will also have a bunch of extra cables and control units to install and keep tidy. This is where the Corsair Commander Pro comes into the equation. You simply connect the captive USB 2.0 cable on the Commander Pro to an internal header on your motherboard and power the device with the captive SATA cable. Both cables are long enough to give a good degree of flexibility when you install the Commander Pro inside your PC. Install the latest version of Corsair’s Link software and you’re ready to start connecting your accessories. F1 2017 Review @ OCC

A news post would be great. OCC has published a review on *F1 2017* Here is a quote from the review: Quote: â€ÂOkay, to be more serious and detailed, the graphics really are quite good. For me this is one of those examples where things look right so nothing stands out. The tracks have good detail, as do the cars, and there are small details to enjoy like blades of grass sticking to the tires, if you accidentally run off the track. When running a wet track, the ground does in fact look wet, and the sound the tires on it make is correct, too. If you look at the screenshots of the wet track I have, you will notice the tires are different from on a dry track, and if I had any images from when I stopped, you would see the tire tread is different, too." Typically, the SATA interface, regardless of the relatively poor performance when compared to PCI-E solutions, is more than enough for a typical user, offering up to 550MB/s transfer speeds; PCI-E SSDs are also more expensive, which adds to the appeal of a SATA SSD. Title: AMD Threadripper 1950X Linux Benchmarks ( -at -) Phoronix Direct Link: http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=25106 Summary: "Last week I was able to finally get my hands on a Threadripper 1950X system thanks to AMD for being able to deliver some Linux tests from this high-end desktop platform. The Threadripper 1950X as a reminder is a 16-core processor with 32 threads via SMT, 3.4GHz base frequency, 4.0GHz boost frequency, quad-channel DDR4 support, and support for 64 PCI-E lanes. Threadripper sits between the Ryzen 7 desktop processors and the AMD EPYC server/workstation processors, which are still soon to be tested at Phoronix. The Ryzen Threadripper 1950X will set you back $999 USD, but compared to the Core i9 7900X at the same price, has six more cores / 12 threads and a slightly higher base clock frequency of 3.4GHz vs. 3.3GHz but a lower boost frequency of 4.0GHz vs. 4.3GHz." On my very short list was a small ITX case that I’ve been seeing around all over the place from Phanteks. The Enthoo Evolv ITX is one of those rare cases that is priced like a budget case but seems to have some of the features and styling that you find in higher end cases. So I reached out to Phanteks and they were happy to send over the case. I’ve been testing it out with our Ryzen ITX setup and I wanted to sit down and talk a little about the case. They are the perfect match for your ASUS ROG motherboard with ASUS Aura Sync. Well if you didn’t know In Win came out with an even smaller version of the chassis, which is the 301. It is made for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX builds and definitely is one of the smallest tower-style cases we’ve ever seen! In Win calls this style of case a mini tower and we have to say this is one elegant case. You have a simplistic style with a full tempered glass side panel. On top of that you can fit some pretty beefy hardware inside. Let’s jump in and take a look!"
