A few months after that I had one in hand to review and from that point on I have been using a variation of that design, mostly Sensei’s on my main computer and/or other computers. It was never perfect, even back then I mentioned the sensor having a few issues but the overall shape and balance was great, so great in fact that it has spawned multiple mice from other vendors trying to capture that same design. But for a few years now the Sensei has been feeling dated with so many other mice getting great optical sensors so you can imagine my happiness when I found out that SteelSeries was introducing a new Sensei along with a new Rival, both with their new TrueMove3 optical sensor. Now after seeing some images of the design I was a little worried that they had messed with the shape and it might lose what made it so special. This is a huge moment for SteelSeries and given how particular about the mice I use when not testing, they will have to get this one just right for it to replace my old Sensei. So let’s see what the big deal is and then put them both to the test. *ARTICLE URL:* https://lanoc.org/review/input-devices/7597-steelseries-rival-310-and-sensei-310 *LARGE IMAGE URL:* https://lanoc.org/images/reviews/2017/steelseries_rival_sensei_310/title.jpg *SMALL IMAGE URL:* https://lanoc.org/images/reviews/2017/steelseries_rival_sensei_310/email.jpg Thank you for your help Our content is syndicated by *RSS* 2.0 at: http://lanoc.org/review?fo rmat=feed&type=atom Check out our *YouTube* Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/LanocReviews Follow us on *Twitter*: http://www.twitter.com/LanOC_Reviews Join our group on *Facebook*: http://www.facebook.com/LanOCReviews Join our *Steam* Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/lanoc *If this message has been sent to an incorrect address, or you no longer wish to receive our news, please email us back and let us know at reviews ( -at -) lanoc.org* ---------------------------------------- Wes Compton Editor-in-Chief LanOC Reviews http://lanoc.org ( -at -) LanOC_Reviews <http://twitter.com/#!/LanOC_Reviews> Google Plus <https://plus.google.com/u/1/b/111054267662763089650/> Our Facebook Page <http://www.facebook.com/LanOCReviews>

Title: Ahead Of Radeon RX Vega, AMDGPU+RadeonSI Is Offering The Most Competitive Performance Yet Against NVIDIA On Linux ( -at -) Phoronix Direct Link: http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=24997 Summary: "With the Radeon RX Vega 56 and Vega 64 shipping in two weeks, here are some benchmarks of the latest Radeon and NVIDIA Linux graphics drivers with an assortment of modern GPUs. With these latest Linux GPU results are also the current performance-per-Watt and thermal metrics as recorded automatically via the Phoronix Test Suite benchmarking software. This Radeon vs. NVIDIA Linux comparison should be particularly interesting given the very good Mesa Git performance results posted yesterday that show RadeonSI performing well beyond the AMDGPU-PRO OpenGL levels." The truth is though that the workbench fills up with projects quickly and everything else overflows into the photo area because of the space it provides. That isn’t a problem in itself, but the damage I have done to our past photo backdrops when everything was white was an issue. With the new wooden setup the idea was that dings, scratches, and scuffs wouldn’t be as big of a concern and for the most part they haven’t been. But I want to take good care of the space when getting into big projects. I’ve been looking for a mat to work on for a while and it just so happens that Alphacool has one that was perfect both for protection but also with nice information on the surface to help with projects. Today let's take a quick look and see if it ended up doing what I needed it to do. *ARTICLE URL:* https://lanoc.org/review/other/7587-alphacool-eisplateau-anti-static-mat *LARGE IMAGE URL:* https://lanoc.org/images/reviews/2017/alphacool_eisplateau/title.jpg *SMALL IMAGE URL:* https://lanoc.org/images/reviews/2017/alphacool_eisplateau/email.jpg Thank you for your help Our content is syndicated by *RSS* 2.0 at: http://lanoc.org/review?fo rmat=feed&type=atom Check out our *YouTube* Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/LanocReviews Follow us on *Twitter*: http://www.twitter.com/LanOC_Reviews Join our group on *Facebook*: http://www.facebook.com/LanOCReviews Join our *Steam* Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/lanoc *If this message has been sent to an incorrect address, or you no longer wish to receive our news, please email us back and let us know at reviews ( -at -) lanoc.org* ---------------------------------------- Wes Compton Editor-in-Chief LanOC Reviews http://lanoc.org ( -at -) LanOC_Reviews <http://twitter.com/#!/LanOC_Reviews> Google Plus <https://plus.google.com/u/1/b/111054267662763089650/> Our Facebook Page <http://www.facebook.com/LanOCReviews>

    clazy v1.2 released

Hi all, clazy 1.2 has been released, these are the changes: - Pre-built Windows binaries: http://download.kde.org/stable/clazy/1.2/clazy_v1.2-msvc2015.zip.mirrorlist - clazy-standalone executable. Allows to run clazy against a JSON compilation database instead of as a plugin. clang-tidy doesn't support loading external modules (https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32739) so this is a good workaround. - qt-compat mode. Allows to disable Qt5 specific checks by passing -Xclang -plugin-arg-clang-lazy -Xclang qt4-compat - New checks: install-event-filter qcolor-from-literal strict-iterators connect-not-normalized - returning-data-from-temporary now checks for temporary QByteArrays casting to char* when returned - returning-data-from-temporary now checks for assignment too, not only return statements - unused-non-trivial-variable now warns for unused QList, QVector and many more types - ASTMatchers based checks are now supported - clang 3.7 was dropped due to ASTMatchers source incompatibilities. Use clazy v1.1 for clang >= 3.6 support - clazylib.so no longer gets built by default, only the plugin (ClangLazy.so) gets built. Pass -DCLAZY_BUILD_UTILS_LIB=ON to enable the utils library if you're developing tools using clazy's convenience functions, which you're probably not. - CLAZY_INSTALL_NO_HEADERS option was removed. Either install the utils library and headers or nothing at all. By default nothing is installed, except the plugin and man pages. Regards, Sergio Martins
