Hi, It's Kristofer from DragonSteelMods, and I have a new review today that I think your readers might find interesting. Title: Gelid Solutions Wing, Silent PWM and TC 120mm and 92mm Fans Reviewed ( -at -) DragonSteelMods Review Link: http://www.dragonsteelmods.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=9011&Itemid=1 Review Snipit: " Today for review I've got six fans from Gelid Solutions, in total there are three 92mm fans and three 120mm fans to be put to the test. Four of the fans are from the Gelid Silent line of fans, two of them are TC or Temperature Controlled fans, two more are PWM controlled fans. The final two fans up for review are special fans aimed towards the enthusiast called the Wing, these fans are brightly colored with neon green blades and a black frame, but what really makes the Wing special are the features of them, and especially the fact that the blades can be removed from the housing for cleaning." Hello Technology News Community, I4U NEWS published a review of BlueAnt Supertooth 3 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit. Quote from the review: "Today I am back with another BlueAnt review -- this time of the Supertooth 3 hands free kit. This device is made for hands free use, attaches to the visor of your car, and can be used at your desk. Pairing the Supertooth 3 to my iPhone was a snap. As soon as you turn on the Supertooth 3 by pressing the green manual call answer button for one second, the device walks you through the pairing process. It even tells you the pairing code so you don't have to dig through the owner's manual. The device can pair to two phones at the same time and can store pairing information for up to eight devices." Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Digital Lounge) - In The Line Of Fire HD Movie Review QUOTE: "In The Line Of Fire, produced in 1993 marked the last film that Clint Eastwood would star in, before getting behind the camera. The film was a critical and financial success, garnering three Oscar nominations and propelled Director Wolfgang Petersen into the big league. Of note is the early technical feat of computer graphics, compositing newly filmed footage into vintage material, which was done for a massive $4 million. The same effects could be done today on a home computer, with relatively basic software. For a film getting on in years, it looks as good as would be expected. Skin tones are perfect and colours are rendered well. There is a fair amount of detail to the image, but it is somewhat inconsistent. Some shots come off looking a little murky and ill defined when compared to others. Thankfully, there is little in the way of film artifacts on the print, and it’s fairly stable with little telecine wobble." Hello, OCIA.net has posted their review of the Transcend 2.5-Inch 32GB Solid State Drive. Below is a direct quote from the review: "One product category that has grown rapidly in popularity recently is the Solid State Drive or SSD. By using an array of flash memory chips grouped together in a standard-sized enclosure, the SSD offers several benefits over a traditional hard disk drive. For one, they have no moving parts, so they operate completely free of noise. They also produce very little heat, which should make them ideal for use in tight spaces where cooling is a concern, like laptops and other portables. Their greater tolerance for vibration and shock are also a boon for notebook use, as is their lighter weight." Direct Link: http://www.ocia.net/reviews/transcendssd/page1.shtml Image Link: http://www.ocia.net/images/icons/334.jpg Site Link: http://www.ocia.net A news posting on your site would be greatly appreciated. SuperMegaUltraGroovy and toastycode Announce TapeDeck 1.1 - Published on 08/15/08 SuperMegaUltraGroovy and toastycode today announced the immediate availability of TapeDeck 1.1, a free update to the popular recording application for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The new features in TapeDeck 1.1 make it easier to share tapes with others. TapeDeck now imports from and exports to other audio formats, such as AIFF and MP3. In addition to emailing tapes to friends and family, TapeDeck users can upload their recordings to YouTube with just a few clicks. Waterloo, Ontario - SuperMegaUltraGroovy and toastycode today announced the immediate availability of TapeDeck 1.1, a free update to the popular recording application for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The new features in TapeDeck 1.1 make it easier to share tapes with others. By popular request, TapeDeck now imports from and exports to other audio formats, such as AIFF and MP3. And now, in addition to emailing tapes to friends and family, TapeDeck users can upload their recordings to YouTube with just a few clicks. "We are especially excited about the YouTube uploading feature," says Chris Liscio, SuperMegaUltraGroovy's founder. "Our users can now share their recordings with the world without leaving TapeDeck." The YouTube version of a TapeDeck tape contains the original audio recording accompanied by an animation of the tape cassette as seen during playback in TapeDeck's user interface. "I've never seen anything like this before on YouTube," Liscio added. The wide range of audio file formats that, thanks to QuickTime, are supported by TapeDeck 1.1 makes sharing tapes across platforms even easier. "Our users made it clear that they wanted to email tapes to their Windows-using friends and family, and we listened," Liscio says. Since its launch, the most surprising source of interest in TapeDeck has been professional users: musicians and engineers who love being able to lay down a track at any time with a single click. That's why TapeDeck 1.1 increases the recording fidelity of its high- and medium-quality presets to a maximum of 320 kbps for HQ recordings. "We have a lot of musicians using TapeDeck to quickly record their ideas, and they want to make sure that if they catch something wonderful on tape, it's captured as faithfully as possible." Pricing and Availability: TapeDeck 1.1 is a free upgrade for registered users, and costs $25 USD for new users and available now. The unregistered version of TapeDeck has a limited recording time, and only records audio in its lowest quality setting. TapeDeck requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and runs well on any Mac supported by Leopard. SuperMegaUltraGroovy is best known for FuzzMeasure, the 2006 Apple Design Award runner-up in the Scientific Computing Solution category. Daniel Sandler started releasing software under the toastycode label on the fourth of July, 2006 with the debut of Pyrotheque, his love letter to a misspent youth in a computer lab full of Mac Pluses, ImageWriters, and pixellated fireworks. Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Visual) - Diamond Radeon HD 4870 XOC Black Edition QUOTE: "The other day we looked at the Smooth Creations Asylum and inside was the new Diamond HD 4870 XOC Black Edition. This isn’t your normal overclocked HD 4870, though; if you have a look at the specifications on the thing, you will quickly discover that the card is packing some mega serious clock speeds. So what we’ve done is pull the card out of the Smooth Creations rig and install it into our testbed to see how the card performs against some of our other favorites. Since this wasn’t a retail sample, we won’t be looking at the package today. What we will do is have a quick look around the card and then check out the clockspeeds before moving onto the testing phase."
