Eagle Consus I-Series ET-CSIU2J-BK Hard Drive Enclosure @ APH Networks
news posted a topic in Upcoming News
Dear Media friends, APH Networks has published a new review that your readers might enjoy. A post in your site's news section would be greatly appreciated! * Title: Eagle Consus I-Series ET-CSIU2J-BK Hard Drive Enclosure ( -at -) APH Networks * Description: Today, SATA hard drives are still the most popular type of mass storage devices on the market today. Sure, there are flash SSDs -- but these SSDs easily cost around $500 for a 128GB unit. Even though SSDs are known for their performance, the are still undeniably pricier than a SATA hard drives with several times the storage capacity. With these cheaper SATA hard drives floating in the market today, we could easily buy more of them and obtain more storage for the price. On the other hand, if you are thinking about what you should do with extra hard drives laying around, you could always get an enclosure and put it in for additional storage as well. Such enclosures are especially good for those users with smaller cases, or just want to make use of unused SATA drives for external storage. Eagle Tech is not a new producer of hard drive enclosures, and promises solutions to external enclosures. To be honest, before this review I have never heard of the brand Eagle Tech. But after some research, I have seen many Eagle product on sale at online computer retailers for somewhat competitive prices. Today, we will be reviewing the Eagle Consus I-Series SATA to USB 2 Bay JBOD External Storage System; a mid-range dual bay hard drive enclosure, which retails for around $40 at press time. * Link: http://aphnetworks.com/reviews/eagle_consus_i_series_et_csiu2j_bk * Image: http://aphnetworks.com/review/eagle_consus_i_series_et_csiu2j_bk/005.jpg -
Dear Media friends, APH Networks has published a new review that your readers might enjoy. A post in your site's news section would be greatly appreciated! * Title: Sumo Lounge SumoSac Sultan - Khaki ( -at -) APH Networks * Description: You might think that, here at APH Networks, we're a bunch of geeks who own a dozen computers at home. Maybe a TV and a microwave, and that's about it. I don't know about other members of the APH Networks team (Sorry guys hehe), but here's the deal though: While I do have almost a dozen computers around here, and I do own a microwave and an HDTV, I have something more than that. After all, despite popular belief, we do have a life. Okay, jokes aside, my point is that we aren't all over tech and tech related stuff all the time. Once in a while, we do have non-computer related products here in our labs. It's already been two years since we looked at the Sumo Lounge Omni Beanbag Chair. Just a few months ago, we 'reviewed' the TWM Performance Complete Short Shifter Kit just for fun. Automotive accessories? Heck, yes. Last month, Andrew from Sumo Lounge got in touch with me again and asked if I wanted to take a look at their latest product, the Sumo Lounge SumoSac. Obviously, I said "yes", not only to Andrew, but who could say "no" to such a unique piece of furniture? I won't waste any more of your time, let's get to the point! * Link: http://aphnetworks.com/fun/sumo_lounge_sumosac_sultan_khaki * Image: http://aphnetworks.com/funstuff/sumo_lounge_sumosac_sultan_khaki/002.JPG

Hi all, We have just published a Facebreaker Hands-on Preview. If you could post a link on your site that would be very much appreciated. *Link: http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2008/07/25/facebreaker-hands-on-preview/1* *Picture: http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2008/07/25/facebreaker-hands-on-preview/1* *Quote: *Before going in to the preview event and getting some face time with the development team behind the game I was under the impression that /Facebreaker/ was a boxing game. A boxing game with cartoony graphics and lots of sillyness, sure -- but still definitely a boxing game. Gloves, rings, right hooks and badly masticated ears -- that's what I was expecting from /Facebreaker/. * *Cheers guys! Tim Smalley www.bit-tech.net

Puzzle Fans Rejoice: Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is Released on Mac - Published on 07/25/08 Fans of cerebral challenges and fun games in general can start worrying about their lives and careers - Ancient Quest of Saqqarah - a vast and cinematic puzzle game by Codeminion is officially released for Mac OS X. Newly released Saqqarah has already gathered very positive reviews and lots of appreciation from the casual gaming community. Saqqarah indeed plays great with its simple-yet-compelling premise, beautiful graphic style and professional voice acting. Warsaw, Poland - Fans of cerebral challenges and fun games in general can start worrying about their lives and careers - Ancient Quest of Saqqarah - a vast and cinematic puzzle game by Codeminion is officially released for Mac OS X! Talking blue monkey with the voice of Michael McMconnohie (Diablo 2, World of Warcraft), over 500 puzzles spread across 7 different game play types, classy visuals and music composed by the people responsible for the soundtrack of The Witcher. Saqqarah certainly doesn't seem like an average casual game made to entertain for 2 hours and then to disappear completely from the memory. In earlier press releases the game was described by its developers as an "AAA casual title". With its official premiere today, we can finally verify this statement; and it seems that Codeminion has kept their word. Newly released Saqqarah has already gathered very positive reviews and lots of appreciation from the casual gaming community. GameZebo, a casual reviews website, described Saqqarah as "a benchmark against which to score all future competition" and gave the game a rare five stars review. "We knew that the casual market is overflowing with tons of similar games. So our idea was not to make a puzzle game, but to make *the* puzzle game. With quality, length and variety never seen in this market before. We also wanted to attract more hardcore players and show them that puzzle games can be as exciting and great looking as AAA titles" - explains Konrad Olesiewicz - game producer and Codeminion co-owner. "If I would have to name Saqqarah's best feature, it would be the variety of challenges. It's over 500 hand crafted levels and 7 different styles of game play, ranging from classical match-3 to some completely new ideas. They all share common features, are easy to learn and can be pl ayed in short chunks of time. However, to complete *everything* at least 50 hours is needed... and we're releasing the first expansion soon" - says Tom Grochowiak, game designer. Saqqarah indeed plays great with its simple-yet-compelling premise, beautiful graphic style and professional voice acting. As all Codeminion's games, there's a 60 minutes trial version available online at Codeminion and Saqqarahthegame - game's official website. Hi, It's Kristofer from DragonSteelMods, and I have a new review today that I think your readers might find interesting. Title: Zerotherm FZ120 CPU Cooler Review ( -at -) DragonSteelMods Review Link: http://www.dragonsteelmods.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8692&Itemid=1 Review Snipit: "Today for review I've got the FZ120 CPU Cooler from Zerotherm and it's a beast, in terms of both size and performance. The FZ120 takes the top spot in most of our cooling tests while remaining virtually silent at the same time. Since the FZ120 is so large it does pose a challenge when installing, and it just downright won't fit in smaller cases like SFF or even most HTPC cases, but if you're looking for great quality, silence and excellent performance the FZ120 deserves a closer look... Part 2: Which motherboard company is more efficient, ASUS or Gigabyte?

Part 2: Which motherboard company is more efficient, ASUS or Gigabyte? We recently compared the power consumption levels of an ASUS P5E3 Premium WiFi-AP ( -at -) N Edition to the Gigabyte GA-X48-DS5 motherboard. In the article we discovered that the ASUS P5E3 Premium was more efficient, but declared consumers the overall winner as both boards lower power usage. Since the review was posted we have gotten negative feedback about the boards we used for testing and have a new motherboard and new test results! Quote: "The ASUS P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP ( -at -) n motherboard uses the EPU together with AI Gear 3+ to help attain the best power efficiency and energy savings we have seen to date. Even with no software enabled the ASUS board uses 9% less power at idle and 6.5% less under load, which is awesome. Is ASUS the hands down winner though? It really depends on what you are after. For a computer system that is used often the Gigabyte DES utility is superior as it is fully dynamic and you don't sacrifice performance when you need it..." Hello All, We're writing to let you all know that we have just posted a new article at HotHardware in which we evaluate the features and performance of the . As its "TOP" branding implies, the EN9800GTX TOP is overclocked from the factory. It's overclocked to 755 MHz for the core (reference speed is 675 MHz), 1175 MHz for the memory (reference speed is 1100 MHz), and 1840 MHz for the shader clock (reference speed is 1688 MHz). One interesting note is that this card is actually faster than the upcoming GeForce 9800 GTX+, but the EN9800GTX TOP is of course not a 55nm part like the 9800 GTX+. Head on over to the site and check it out... News - Kingston DataTraveler BlackBox 2GB at Overclockers Online
news posted a topic in Upcoming News
Greetings, Overclockers Online has posted a new review. A news post would be greatly appreciated. Title: Kingston DataTraveler BlackBox 2GB at Overclockers Online Link: http://www.overclockersonline.net/?page=articles&num=1881 Quote: All things considered, I was impressed with the Kingston DataTraveler BlackBox. It performed admirably well even though it has to deal with on-the-fly 256-bit AES encryption. Also, the security process is relatively transparent in that all you have to do is put in your password and subsequently, the drive acts just like a normal USB flash drive. The build quality is excellent unlike some older DataTravelers I've owned; I soaked the drive in a cup of water for several minutes and it still worked. Thanks for the post. Have a great weekend! Hello Technology News Community, I4U NEWS published a review of the Wolfking Trooper MVP Gaming Mouse. Quote from the review: "Today we are taking a look at the Wolfking Trooper MVP gaming mouse. The mouse has adjustable sensitivity and a button that lets you fire multiple times with one mouse click. The fire button works very well in Quake Wars with a semi-auto pistol or any other game where the weapon in use reloads itself instantly and automatically. Where the auto fire feature does not work is with weapons like a bolt action sniper rifle or a chain gun where you have to hold the button down long enough for the weapon to spool up." A news post would be great. OCC has published a new review on the ASUS P5QL-E Here is a quote from the review: Quote: "When it came to overclocking the Intel Core 2 Q9450 on the ASUS P5QL-E I ran into a few problems getting it stable anywhere above 2940MHz (420x7). Leaving all of the voltage settings on auto, I was able to get the FSB frequency all the way up to 400MHz with a multiplier of 7x. However, I did end up jumping to 1.355V on the CPU voltage to get it stable at 420MHz x 7 Multi giving me the speed of 2940MHz. If I tried to raise the FSB frequency any higher than 420MHz, no matter if the FSB termination voltage was raised to 1.36-1.40 volts or the CPU PLL to 1.4 volts, I would keep getting either a BSOD or just unstable results within 15 minutes of stress testing. I was very dissapointed seeing that I was only able to get 420MHz out of the board. I was aiming more towards 480 to 500MHz on the FSB Frequency."
