news posted a topic in Upcoming News
Hello Again, Futurelooks if you're happy or is that 32 GB's of storage in your pocket... Corsair Voyager 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Memory Drive Review It amazes me that each year memory companies keep putting out larger and larger memory capacity portable storage devices at lower prices than the previous year while trumping last year’s products and their competitors. Corsair, a world leader in producing high end computer and flash memory products sent us their largest capacity USB 2.0 flash drive to date sporting 32 GB of storage. Yes you read correct; a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive that you can carry around in your pocket. Crazy isn’t it? Video reviews of all iPod games now available - Published on 05/04/08 The Digital Lifestyle today launched a new page featuring quick (one minute or less) independent video reviews of all of the currently available iPod games from the iTunes music store. The reviews mark a branching out into portable gaming for the site. The Digital Lifestyle will also review as many iPhone games and applications as possible. Philadelphia, PA - The Digital Lifestyle today launched a new page featuring quick (one minute or less) independent video reviews of all of the currently available iPod games from the iTunes music store. "Since most of the games are short, we didn't want to make ten minute reviews," said Ryan Ritchey, the site's founder. "It was interesting to see the difference in the quality of the games. Some are great, and some are downright awful." Additionally, the site has created a blog entry sorting the games into groups: great, good, ok, poor, and awful. Ritchey said the worst iPod game fortunately, is no longer available. "The 'Lost' game (based on the TV series) was just dreadful. Essentially, there's an arrow on the screen, and you walk in the direction of the arrow, then do a lot of reading," Ritchey said. The reviews mark a branching out into portable gaming for the site. Ritchey said The Digital Lifestyle will also review as many iPhone games and applications as possible. "We want to be the biggest site of Apple-related video, and reviewing these games is a key part of that", Ritchey said. "We're really excited to hear from iPhone developers, and review their products as well." The site also features "TDL Live," a weekly live Apple news and rumors show (Monday 9PM ET), and Root Access, an Apple tech help show hosted by former Mac Genius Jamie DeGrazio. The new reviews are available at their website. The Digital Lifestyle: http://www.thedigitallifestyle.tv Game Reviews: http://www.thedigitallifestyle.tv/Games.html TheDigitalLifestyle.tv was founded in November 2007 as the only 24-hour online video network dedicated to Apple news, rumors, and lifestyle. A news post would be great. OCC has published a new review on the Cooler Master Hyper Z600 Here is a quote from the review: Quote: "When you take the Cooler Master Hyper Z600 out and get it alone, you are able to see how extremely large this piece of hardware actually is. Not only is it tall, it is also very wide. You can also see that the entire cooler is made out of aluminum, which is a very common choice between all manufactures to use for a cooler nowadays. All four sides of the Hyper Z600 look very similar; actually looking at only the fins, they are aligned the exact same on every side. This heatsink is setup very differently than any of the others that I have used before. There are two heatpipes that attach to the base and soar all the way up to the top of the heatsink and are positioned in each of the four corners of the unit." Hi all, We have posted a look at ASUS' latest silent GPU, based on the 9600 GT. In the end, it proves to be a fantastic card that's worth every cent of the $5 premium the card carries over the stock versions. Title: ASUS EN9600GT Silent 512MB ( -at -) Techgage Link: http://techgage.com/article/asus_en9600gt_silent_512mb/ Quote: Looking for excellent gaming performance but also want to keep PC noise to a minimum? The EN9600GT Silent from ASUS is the card to buy. It couples the power of the 9600 GT with pure silence, and costs little more than the stock model, making it a great choice for either the HTPC or desktop.

CoolJag Falcon 92-AL Heatsink Review Dear webmaster / news poster: Quote: Is the CoolJag Falcon 92-AL the 'Ultimate Cooling Machine'? With enough surface area to build a small car out of and a auto-controlled Smart fan, it should be a contender. A news post would be great. OCC has published a new review of the Thermolab Micro Silencer Here is a quote from the review: Quote: "As you can see, this cooler was outperformed by the other heatsinks, except for the Nano Silencer, in each test. When you take a look at the size difference between the Micro Silencer and the other heatsinks it was compared to, it should not have been able to beat them or even come close. However, again taking a look at its size, it is able to remove the heat off of the processor better than the stock cooler provided by Intel." Hi all, We have just published a review of *Matrix Orbital's GX Typhoon Display* - if you could post a link on your site that would be very much appreciated. *Link:* http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2008/05/04/matrix-orbital-gx-typhoon-display/1 *Picture:* http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2008/05/matrix-orbital-gx-typhoon-display/fp_img.jpg *Quote: */"I started the project of reviewing the GX Typhoon as one of those who thought monochrome LCD technology had well passed its heyday. But what did I end up feeling? Hope. There are things that an LCD like the Typhoon could never do. It will never be a mini movie screen. It will never show Winamp visualisations. It will also never slow my computer down or prevent me from using SLI. It will never take me more than five minutes to design a basic screen, or fifteen for a complex one. What it / /will do is give me a lot of handy information at my fingertips, and I can easily add more. It will pull my weather report from the web, display my song titles and even my calendar entries. It will display my Speedfan info on my test rig, and monitor my temperatures on my main rig. It will do it colourfully, intelligently and easily. It will allow me to control Windows Media player and it will give me data on that, too. In short, it will do everything I would ever need an intelligent display to do. Add to this the ability for / /proper add-ons -- a baybus that can run more than a few milliamps of current before it fries; a separate control panel that I could configure independently; a watercooling pump monitor or IR blaster for my TV or a lightbus that ties to my music beats or anything else that comes up that could be useful. And all this comes with an interface that's open and encourages users to develop more great ideas. With the pros and cons on the table, the GX Typhoon is, to me, proof that small-scale LCD technology isn't dead...far from, it's just starting to come back into style. The classics always do." /* *Cheers guys! Tim Smalley www.bit-tech.net

Hi all, We have just published an interview with *Doug Dobson, PC Power & Cooling's Chief Technology Officer* - if you could post a link on your site that would be very much appreciated. *Link:* http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2008/05/03/interview-with-pc-powers-doug-dodson/1 *Picture:* http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2008/05/interview-with-pc-powers-doug-dodson/fp_img.jpg *Quote: */"BT:// How do you expect the PSU to evolve in the next three to five years considering the push to greener, more efficient computing? (Personally we believe PSUs will become more of a commodity product so in the future there will be an emphasis on price and features rather than component quality). DD: I expect a major change. There will be only one DC output: +12 Volts. The +3.3V, +5V, and -12V outputs will be eliminated in the future. This will make the PSU more efficient, since +12 Volts is the most efficient output, and of course it will make the PSU simpler and less expensive. Some of the cost savings will be used to improve component quality since the cost of upgrading is minimal compared to the cost of returning a defective PSU and the cost of computer downtime." / * *Cheers guys! The NZXT Tempest features breakthrough features in every category satisfying the high performance demands of PC Enthusiasts and Gamers worldwide. Tempest stakes its claim as Airflow King with 6 fans including dual intake(120mm), dual exhaust(140mm) with additional side and rear fans(120mm) all of which are included.LR takes a look at the Tempest to see what the 'king of cooling' is all about. Retailing for under $99 this might be one of the most popular gaming cases for 2008. Quote: "The Tempest from NZXT’s crafted series is a very nice looking computer case. With a current street price of $109 plus shipping it is in the same price bracket as the ever-so-popular $99.99 Antec Nine Hundred hardcore gaming case.To compare these two cases one will find that they are similar in style, but the Tempest has a little more going for it; it can hold up to 8 hard drives and the top of the case is designed so that it can mount some of the most common dual 120mm water cooling radiators to it with out modifications. Buying a case is obviously a personal decision, but it would be hard to go wrong with the Tempest..." Greetings, Overclockers Online has posted a new review. A news post would be greatly appreciated. Title: OCZ 4GB Rally2 USB Flash Drive at Overclockers Online Link: http://www.overclockersonline.net/?page=articles&num=1731 Quote: From the concept of the Rally Flash Drive family, OCZ has done everything right: a sleek slender body with fast performance. As the series matured and evolved to the Rally2 Turbo, the drive has had a few cosmetic changes and the performance has kicked into a higher gear. The curved edges with no protruding parts and overall small body makes it an easy fit into pockets while the 25-30MB/s performance guarantees you quick copy from hard drive to flash. Thanks for the post. best regards, Simon _______________________________________________

Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Motherboards) - DFI LANParty LT X48-T2R Motherboard QUOTE: "X48 has certainly earned a name for itself now. While Intel has been at the back end of adapting new technologies that actually work (forget the Rambus incident), the X38/X48 chipsets are somewhat ahead of their time. What can be said for the DFI X48 LANParty board other than yet another success from this once OEM company is that DFI has really taken on a new persona over the last three years. With a huge boost in R&D, DFI are designing boards that are not only functional, but look just as good as they perform." Hello Technology News Community, I4U NEWS reviews the Asus EN9600GT Silent Video Card. If you are looking to build a silent HTPC machine or a quiet gaming computer the Asus EN9600GT Silent is perfect. Quote from the review: "The worst thing about the exclusive V-cool heatsink (really the only bad thing) is that to get enough surface area for the passive cooling to be effective the normally single slot 9600GT becomes a dual slot design. I also found that the back edge of the passive heatsink blocked the retention clip for the six-pin power connector the card requires. I had to lift gently on the fins of the heatsink to get the clearance needed for seating the power plug." A news post would be great. OCC has published a new review of the Coolit Pure Review Here is a quote from the review: Quote: "CoolIT claims that installing the PURE cooler is quick and easy, but I found that installation into my case - a Lian-Li PC-P60 - was a little more trouble than I expected. The problem I encountered stemmed from the sizable depth of my case, and the PURE's tubing was too short to span the distance between the CPU and the radiator mounted on the hard drive cage. I ended up resting the PURE's main assembly on my RAM slots, so that I could mount the CPU block without stretching the hoses too far." RJTech PVR1100 MPEG4 Mini Video Recorder Review @ Hardware Canucks
news posted a topic in Upcoming News
Hardware Canucks is pleased to present our review of the RJTech PVR1100 MPEG4 Mini Video Recorder. Quote: RJTech has aimed their flash media based PVR1100 at users who want both simplicity and value in a PVR so it doesn’t have a built-in tuner nor may recoding options. Nonetheless, it can serve multiple purposes with the ability to play a wide variety of media types (image, video and audio) while recording in MPEG-4 format. Versatility is the name of the game here and while it doesn’t record or play files in high resolution, it is geared towards either older 640x480 resolution TVs or portable media devices. Title: Audioengine W1 Wireless Audio Adapter Reviewed ( -at -) TheTechLounge Quote: "Audioengine's stellar A5 "bookshelf" speakers knocked me flat with perfect sound. The fact that this company would trust invisible air tubes over good ol' copper to not screw up their performance is a compelling sign that their new Audioengine W1 is dyed-in-the-wool wireless solution, but I'm hella skeptical. While I certainly don't believe that Monster's onto something with their oxygen-free copper and gold lies, I'm not positive that I won't be able to tell the difference between wires and nothingness."
