iSticky 3.0.8: Sticking convenience on your desktop with iPhone support

iSticky 3.0.8: Sticking convenience on your desktop with iPhone support - Published on 04/12/08 Since a long period, people use pieces of paper to write a short note. A task they have to do, or a telephone number. Why not combine something simple as writing a note with the worldwide power of modern communication networks? iSticky gives you the possibility to stick little aqua-like notes and your desktop, and beyond ... For iSticky also enables you to send your notes to others by using Bonjour, Internet and Short Message Service and copy them to your iPhone. Nieuwer ter Aa, Netherlands - Since a long period, people use pieces of paper to write a short note. A task they have to do, or a telephone number. Although technology made progression, this principle of making notes never changed. Why not combine something simple as writing a note with the worldwide power of modern communication networks? This idea was the basis for the development of iSticky. iSticky gives you the possibility to stick little aqua-like notes and your desktop, and beyond ... For iSticky also enables you to send your notes to others by using Bonjour, Internet and Short Message Service. For communication beyond your Local Area Network, iSticky makes use of the iStickyServer. This server directs the communication to and from your free worldwide iSticky account. It stores the notes you didn't read yet and serves you to synchronize your notes on the different desktops you have. Besides of that, the iStickyServer keeps you up to date of the status of your sent SMS and of the iSticky SMS credits you have remaining. Safety and secrecy are two of the main issues iSticky is concerned with. Therefore, it has first the possibility to encode the messages that are stored on our server by using 128-bit AES encryption technology. Secondly, when you feel the communication with one of your contacts is confidential, you can choose to encrypt these notes as well. Just mutually agree with your contact about the encryption key to use. After both of you entered this key in the special encryption key field in the iSticky contact list, communication is smoothly encrypted and decrypted without noticing it yourself. Having many features for you to manage your notes in appearance, layers, category or theme, iSticky might be the answer for organized and less organized people. Make the appearance of your notes as simple or funny as you want. Archive your notes to keep them saved on your disk without seeing them every time. Or link a file to a note. Selecting this file in Finder will make this note appear. Our iStickyServer is protected very well. No message bombs can be sent via our server. Even when you get notes from someone you don't want to receive, just check the blacklist box in the contact list and this user isn't able to send you any notes anymore. The worldwide note-service of iSticky is free, your account and server space included. Understandably, sending a note to a cell phone using SMS is not free. But even this service is offered at a very low rate. All the above-mentioned safe and extended note-managing features are available at a very friendly price. Notes have never been so powerful. insist Website: http://www.insist.nl iSticky: http://www.insist.nl/isticky Direct Download Link: http://www.isticky.net/downloads/isticky3.zip Purchase Link: http://www.insist.nl/insist/shop.html Screenshot: http://www.insist.nl/images/screenshot/isticky/screenshots.zip Screenshot/App Icon: http://www.insist.nl/images/isticky/istickylogo.png Insist is an Apple dedicated softwarepublisher. ### Jaap Cammeraat CEO info ( -at -) insist.nl ******* Member wishes to have this product reviewed by the media ******* ******* Trackback URL: http://prmac.com/release-trackback.php?id=1808&a=ODM= Link To Article: http://prmac.com/release-id-1808.htm ******* -
Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Storage) - Seagate Momentus 5400.4 250GB 2.5” HDD QUOTE: "Today we have been sent Seagate’s new notebook drive, the Momentus 5400.4. This is the fourth generation of Momentus drives; the last one we managed to have a look at out-pioneered the use of Perpendicular recording methods when it first arrived, proving it could easily handle extra data as well as increase speeds. Its construction matches that of all other 2.5” drives; it’s light weight so you’re not lugging an extra brick inside your notebook. It runs extremely cool, so not to add to heat which is especially important in the HTPC and notebook market where most of these run with only one fan." Which is why when I was informed that I would be reviewing an LGA775 board with an nVidia chipset, I was a little apprehensive, and still am. Today I will be looking at the brand new Asus Striker II NSE motherboard. It is a full-featured DDR3 board for LGA775, utilizing the nVidia nForce 790i SLI chipset, belonging to Asus' ROG (Republic of Gamers) motherboard line. Hardware Canucks is pleased to present our review of the Enermax Pro82+ 625W power supply Quote: It seems that with the Pro82+ 625W, Enermax is firmly targeting the more budget-minded consumer who is looking for a no-frills power supply which is easy on their wallet while offering the legendary stability Enermax has been known for. By pricing this unit around the $120 mark, they have ensured that it is well-placed to compete directly with power supplies like the OCZ GameXstream 600W and the Silverstone Olympia 650W. While this is some stiff competition, Enermax is hell-bent on breaking into a lucrative market niche. Hello, OCIA.net has posted their review of the Thermaltake Xaser VI Full Tower Case. Below is a direct quote from the review: "Thermaltake is one company that is hard to stay on top of. In the M9 case review last month, I mentioned how it seems like there is always something new coming from those folks. Well here to prove me right is the latest offering in the Xaser class full tower, the VI VG4000 series. Thermaltake calls the Xaser VI a Super Tower, and if the box is any indication of its size, I'd say they're right." Hello fellow editors! Tech ARP ( http://www.techarp.com/ <http://www.techarp.com/>'>http://www.techarp.com/> ) has just posted the Automatically Logging Into Windows XP. Quote - Despite Microsoft's relentless efforts in promoting Windows Vista, Windows XP is still going strong and is unlikely to go away anytime soon. So, here's a really useful tip for those of you who are still using Windows XP. If you are one of those who have always wished you do not have to log into Windows XP manually, here's a simple guide on how you can get Windows XP to automatically log you in everytime it boots up. Just follow the simple steps and you will no longer need to do so. Here's a quote from the article :- "For better security, we have always had to manually log into Windows XP whenever it boots up. This is great for those who are concerned about security, or need to allow multiple users to use the system. It is particularly useful for business users. However, it may be a real hassle for users in a single-user environment who are not so concerned about security, or prefer to leave it to the BIOS for login security." FmPro Script Diff 1.15 is an updated version fixing a screen redraw issue on MacOS X Leopard (10.5). This maintenance release also fixes an issue with the display of sorted Diff Results. FmPro Script Diff - FmPro Script Diff compares, edits, searches and stores FileMaker® ScriptMaker scripts. Changed scripts are compared on a line-by-line basis and displayed with color coded tags to the left of each modified line. Interline changes are also highlighted to indicate Changed, Added or Deleted text. Each script's XML source can be manually edited or updated via the Search & Replace feature, and pasted back into FileMaker Advanced. Transferring scripts between FileMaker Advanced and FmPro Script Diff is accomplished by copying & pasting the scripts via the clipboard. No DDR Export is required. Hello Technology News Community, I4U NEWS reviews the Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter HS20. Quote from the review: "Today we are looking at a very nice little gadget that will help you get connected to hot spots when you are on the road. The scanning process took about 10 seconds in my testing to turn up 6 local wireless networks. It is important to note that my notebook only found three of the local networks in its scan. A lock icon displays to show you at a glance if a network is open or closed to public access. If networks the Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter finds are encrypted it will also tell you what encryption is in use." NVIDIA Gets Aggressive, Dismisses CPU-GPU Fusion @ HotHardware.com
news posted a topic in Upcoming News
Hello, NVIDIA held a Financial Analyst Day yesterday, where representatives spoke about the company's strengths, market share, technology, and direction. There was a lot of discussion regarding current products and competition, which seemed to get NVIDIA's CEO Jen-Sun Huang fired up in a way that's not often seen publicly. The always outspoken Jen-Sun really went on the offensive and essentially dismissed CPU-GPU fusion and Intel's upcoming discreet graphics product (codenamed Larrabee). He also downplayed the erosion of NVIDIA's market share in the mobile segment and promoted the APX 2500 "system on a chip", CUDA, and other NVIDIA initiatives. We've got more notes from NVIDIA's Financial Analyst Day available here: URL: http://www.hothardware.com/News/NVIDIA_Gets_Aggressive_Dismisses_CPUGPU_Fusi on Site: http://www.hothardware.com/ As always, a link in your news sections would be much appreciated! The AMD Radeon HD 3650 is a mid-range low cost GPU aimed at the under $100 market of graphics cards. Sapphire is one of the AMD's best partners and is known for taking their products and making them better than reference design. But does the HD 3650 have the power to take on NVIDIA's 8600 GTS cards? URL: http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=545&type=expert Quote: "When the Radeon HD 3650 card was first released we were a little underwhelmed by the specifications as it seemed that nothing had been improved upon when compared to the previous, RV600-based HD 2600-series of cards. And in fact that is the case: performance remains mostly the same while power consumption has dropped and thus heat output too. That doesn't make the HD 3650 a home run though as NVIDIA's answers to the card continue to stack up and perform better - the 8600 GTS with half the frame buffer was easily outpacing the Sapphire HD 3650 card with 512MB of GDDR3 memory even when overclocked." S&M S2 Finale: What's New Beelzebub? ( -at -) [OC]ModShop The Sam and Max saga continues into the fiery pits of Hell. After dropping through the Bermuda triangle with Bosco's corpse, Sam and Max find that they must take a train into Hell to retrieve Bosco's soul. Using their typical crime-solving tactics, the twosome must find a token to catch the next soul train to the pits of Satan's Lair. But getting in much easier than getting back out. Not only do the crime fighters find it hard to escape the grips of Beelzebub, but they find themselves surrounded by the people who they themselves sent to Hell. Now Sam and Max are trapped in a world where it's always Monday and it's always just before quitting time. It would almost feel like real life if not for the fact that the guy in charge is Satan himself. Actually, I guess this is pretty close to real life. Yesterday at its Financial Analyst Day conference, officials from Nvidia talked for quite a while (about six hours) about the firm's position in the market. They addressed, at some length, how Nvidia plans to counter the AMD and Intel CPU-GPU hybrids and Intel's upcoming Larrabee graphics processor. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was quite vocal on those fronts, arguing hybrid chips that mix microprocessor and graphics processor cores will be no different from systems that include Intel or AMD integrated graphics today. He also had some choice words about Larrabee... http://techreport.com/discussions.x/14538 -- To unsubscribe from: TR-News, just follow this link:

Title pretty much says it all... URL: http://www.pcper.com/comments.php?nid=5474 Quote: " AMD is truly at a historic lowpoint, and it seems that it is due to a bad combination of technology, competition, and perhaps some internal complacency. Phil was brought in as CTO at AMD's pinnacle, and he has presided over that position from that point to the low valley we now see the company. Is he a fall guy? Was it his decisions that led them on the road to here? Or were there thoughts of cutting salaries of these upper management individuals, and he simply felt that it was not in his best interest to stay and take the cut? Hard to say." Thanks for a post!
