I manually deleted the directx entry from regedit and now i have a similar problem as this: http://www.compatdb.org/support/topics/176169_cant_load_civilization_4_trouble_with_directx.html The problem is that the file (DX9C.reg) he was asked to import into his registry does'nt exist there anymore. I cant installl a fresh version of directx unless i import the file into the registry i guess so could you kindly provide a working link to that file so that i can download it. Many thanks!
