Besides, this tool restores files from any storage media, including hard drives, memory sticks, external drives, digital cameras etc.

Pinnacle studio. It might be a bit pricier than movie maker but it is easier to use and has more options as far as editing is concerned. Far superior to Roxio and Nero in all respects.
