(PROBLEM) my problem is...i plugged my usb midi piano into my PC USB port.it always DID say that it wasnt recognized (when i upgradded to windows vista) but now i ran acros a gam,e thats like guitar hero but you use your piano...i HAD to try it! soo i plugged in my piano and hoped it would work (it didnt) and then i said "tah hell with it" and put my piano away and was GONNA get back to playing my games (which i use a USB port to do) i tryed plugging my microsoft wireless receiver back into my front usb port and IT DIDNT WORK D: NOWsomething ELSE you all should know:I HAVE 6 USB PORTS____4 in the back___2 in the front___2 in the back never did work (when this PC was given to me)___and i use 2 for my mouse and KEYBORD (not piano keybord)___ i NEED atleast 3 because i use my pc for gaming for now soo its ussless as of now to me because i only play with joysticks___after doing that piano thing to my 2 front ports,they dont work any more!they ALWAYS say that the usb device is NOT recognized I THINK THAT THE CAUSE OF THESE PROBLEMS ARE THE DEVICES WE PLUGG IN TO OUR USB PORTS hey dude ive been reading this forum and just wanna say YOU ARE INSPIRING! i love how u didnt give up. i had my fingers crossed for you the whole time reading this thread. and was estatic to see that you actually fixed ur problem. and the solution you used MAY work for me also...but i still dont understand what you mean about the USB HEADERS.ive googled "USB HEADERS" but other stuff comes up and ive done the same on youtube...i gets nuthin...but i AM happy to see that yours worked you really deserved it xD...the USB hero lol *sigh* its a shame that this kinda stuff has to happen..its like microsoft DESIGNED these things to break...as they did the same for the xbox360 but dude ill try your method and see if it works...and if it DOES i wont be like you and "almost cry" ILL FRIGGIN CRY *fingers crossed* wish me luck and "ILL BE BACK" and thankx soo much for this thread its the most accurate ive come across
