Just a quick note that the search function is currently not working because the search index is missing. I will reindex the search index tomorrow morning.

Yes, the new message forum is part of Storyteller CMS 1.6 which was released last week

This is way different in the new forums. There is now a "current topics" option which will display the last 10 topics of each single forum. The folder for each topic is marked in 4 different colors, depend on the age of each post: Posts of the last 6 hours Posts of the last 7-12 hours Posts of the last 12-24 hours 24 hours+ This was necessary because the new forum is using a caching system like the rest of the website.

Quote: If you would like to post updates to packages of Fedora Core, why aren't you posting package updates for other distros like Gentoo, Debian or Mandrake? Done. I just added Gentoo and Mandrake to the news system. Debian has already his own category. However, there are much less updates because Debian.org release only security updates for the stable branch. Any other distro requests?

What ad is this exactly?

Mepis - Heavy Weight Contender for Mandrake
Philipp replied to TrakerJon's topic in Everything Linux
I tried Mepis last week and liked it. I never saw a better preconfigured desktop distro, it comes even with build-in nVidia 3D drivers 8) However, some hardware (like SCSI) is not supported by the current release -

I hope this is now fixed. Please vote again. -
Sorry for the late reply This is only temporary until the new compatibility database script is finished. However, the new message board script has a higher priority.

Using the force option is now a good idea. Instead download YUM from http://shrike.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=1559 and change the /etc/yum.conf like this: Code: [main]cachedir=/var/cache/yumdebuglevel=2logfile=/var/log/yum.logpkgpolicy=newestdistroverpkg=redhat-releasegpgcheck=1tolerant=1exactarch=1[os]name=Red Hat Linux $releasever - $basearch - osbaseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/redhat/$releasever/$basearch/os[updates]name=Red Hat Linux $releasever - $basearch - updatesbaseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/redhat/$releasever/$basearch/updates[freshrpms]name=Red Hat Linux $releasever - $basearch - freshrpmsbaseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/redhat/$releasever/$basearch/freshrpms Now you can run yum install mplayer to install mplayer
