Just a wild guest but maybe it your power supply or it could be ever the memory it self maybe the memory is wrong type or that good sign that it go bad. My memory modules have to be 8Mx8 chips per side damm that suck which mean I can't use any of the new 16Mx8 nor 32Mx8 per side chips. Why I say well I got some PC133 128MB 16Mx8 soon or later I have crash sometime at boot up other time well you get the picture.

the only I can this game to run is on Voodoo card with glide I have fig out how to get it to run with DX even with command line sfuff for DX. It post here some under games like for SHS post you fine it.

This is frist Voodoo3 WinXP test drivers it should also work on Voodoo 4/5 as well but I can't test them intell I get back home on 11/01/2001 boohoo but please give Hujer HoE (hoe@dle.sk) a big thank he found the rigth work around keys that are need for Glide&OpenGL to Work under WinXP. He made it work in winxp using some nasty hacking methods hehe don't ask, Well there is no warranty and if it blows your computer its not my fault nor any one eles, Anyway it seems to work from what I hear so far. If you like what he did drop him a e-mail with subject "thanx for v3 xp drivers" coz he have spent lots time wokring on this. As long is it real hardware and not some softmodem like min are today, but that also depend on where you live and how far you are to the main telec box and the phone line it self. External or better no not thoses USB modem there software driving need to say. Try Zoom I had very good lucky with them beside the modem you have is software modem.

Andy_7676 I own Voodoo5 5500 belive me win I say there no way to get Glide nor OpenGL to work under WinXP but you can get better DirectX support then the build in drv that come with WinXP all you need is 3dfx Voodoo4/5 Win2K 1.04 drivers kit, I'am not done with the DirectX only drv for WinXP hope I have them done before I go out town this week but I would count it being I have all ready dump WinXP and ton of other stuff to make room for captuering 2 or 3week of Babylon 5 wail I'am out of town. If want the WinXP DirectX only drv rigth now e-mail me.

No matter what by using very old drv in fact the very first set voodoo drv from win2k kit are not very compatible but then agine some of you may get lucky (I don't mean S.E.X now hehe) and it work on some voodoo card (Namelee Voodoo3) other then that I still think it a waste of time....
