Then try this way then go to the Device Manager Click on View | Show all hidden devices do you see "NT Apm/Legacy Support" ? if it there rigth on NT Apm/Legacy Interface Node click on Enable done deal if it not there add it thur the Hardware Wizard.

All need to do is enable APM Control Panel | Power Options see the Tab APM

INFERNO2000 Geforces is not superior to Voodoo5 5500 sure the Geforces is fast on benchmarks but have you ever try playing 3DMark2000 ? hehe, The Geforces has major problem 2D belive it suck hell even ATI run better in 2D Mode then the Geforces dose.
