Cool it made Windows 2000 Magazine
-
here any example Space Hulk "Electronic Arts" it will run under 16bit fat only but not 32bit nor NTFS So you see clutch has nothing to do with I/O calls to the HD. It has do with the way some app write ~temp files. Network app don't work in the same way as local app dose.
-
Bursar yes it dose make a difference on file system but that will depend on the games it self older dos one are well know for this being they try wirte 16bit file system but windows games shouldn't have this problem.

Linux well never be next big thing at less not for customers. 1: 99% of time you have compile or even recompile device drivers & some app's for each ver of new Linux + you better have all developer stuff install or get compile error. 2: 2D Display fonts look like crap v Windows ever crank I it up 14 or 16 point fonts. now the OS need major work in that area hell even BeOS look better then this. 3: Linux had no standerd 4: Let get real here why all diff distributions that have no standerd. I like the one from corel I all so like mandrake. corel more like windows ONE GUI. mandrake has to much useless stuff but very nice installer. One thing I real hate is netscape it e-mail & news reader & it fonts plus it is most crash pron web browers I have ever seen, for love of god MS plaese port IE to Linux hehe. Well next maybe it will be Amiga or QNX By the way for thoses who don't know QNX will free very soon, to bad Steve Jobs got his head up this @#$ being Mac OS10 can run on x86 CPU but Steve said no what but whip he is. The BIGGEST Problem with other OS is the lack of device drivers for the hardware other that it petty much a useless OS.

I would say about 95% of Parallel Port Scanners should work that if the drivers work under NT4 so in case I go for it been there is NT4 drivers

Just come Boy's have fun Yes, Ramdisk is WORKING! (And I am adding on a FileFinder, Registry Cleaner AND also RightClick on folders MoveFile, DeleteFile, RenameFile, and CopyFile tools tonite as well to update it to version 9.0++...) I think you'll really like it... Here is the link to the 8.0++ model: http://www.huntley.com.au/apk/APKWin2kTools4.exe * It's #4 at ZDNet's "hotfiles" site behind Microsoft TweakUI and Norton's PCAnywhere and Norton Utilities 2000... not bad, eh? In the "Other Utilities" section! http://www.hotfiles.com but I think they are only posting 7.0++ right now... I am waiting for them to update actually! (Oh, from the direct link? You may have to use RightClick SaveAs from your browser to download it... if you don't use tools like Download Accelerator...) APK P.S.=> I'll write you when I upload the 9.0++ unit... the 8.0++ unit is nice though, just lacks the add-ons I am finalizing tonite is all... almost 9mb download on 8.0++... apk

should be this way ? 1. Copy the Windows 2000 CD to "?":\W2PSEL_EN on your HD. 2. Make a folder called it SP1 & extract sp1network.exe to that SP1 folder. 3. Go to the Update directory in the extracted SP1 directory. 4. Make a batch file called update.bat and place these lines into it: update.exe -s:"?":\W2PSEL_EN ("?"=driver letter)

You shold have 3 WAN Miniport (IP) "ndiswan.sys" MS WAN Wrapper Network Driver. WAN Miniport (L2TP) "rasl2tp.sys" RAS L2TP mini-port/call-manager driver. WAN Miniport (PPTP) "raspptp.sys" Peer-to-Peer Tunneling Protocol. They use for Loacl Lan, Dail-up so down the line, the drivers are perinstall & start as soon you install NIC or Modem.

WinTV supports only lowres capture 320x240 max, yes that rigth no soft nor hardware mpeg so 3rd party app like PowerVCR or WinVCR. But later this yrs Hauppauge has MPEG card come out. Hauppague promises that the WinTV-PVR (personal video recorder) will offer real-time hardware MPEG2 encoding of video from a built-in TV tuner, along with the ability to burn the MPEG2 back out to a CD-R, all for $250. Other then that you be spend as much $1000 to $1500 for DVD quality "720x576" capture card.
