do you have both glide2x.dll & glide3x.dll in the system32 folder ?. You didn't need to copy opengl32.dll, This part rigth "3dfxogl renaming it to 3dfxvgl". You may have to extract the real Win2K opengl32.dll back in to system32 folder If you got WinZip7 drag this file CDROM:\i386\opengl32.dl_ in to WinZip7 & extract it. What ver of quake3 do you got I not tried out 1.09 at this time but I'am work on it.

Do you have VIA or ALi chipset on your motherboard ?

it could one few thing 1: did you run the run.cmd in safe mode ?. 2: did you do this ?. Check the 'do not map through this device' box 3: Or didn't reupdate the drivers just like in step 3 or 6
