Does the mx300 o mx400 work with rc1 pr rc2?

hmmm when I was installing it gave me missing file errors, Im gonna re download it, tell me if u guys get similiar errors in the dos part of the insall.

rc2, not a single problem with d3d, opengl games BUT I still got no hardware decoding with my hollywood+

The drivers at ur site are version 1.0 and this was the link from ur site right? http://perso.club-internet.fr/ches/dl/drivers/hpwk20w1.zip Iv already got 1.1 which is newer then those, but I need the ones that were supposedly even newer..

They have 2 pairs of drives there the nt4 and win2k one, I tried the win2k drivers and the card still wont work under win2k, saome error that it cant start up the device, and the NT4 drivers I canteven use

Im watching a dvd using ddraw, and I played shogo d3d for a good hour or so no issues at all so far *fingers crossed* it seems to be a good deal. version 3.52 http://www.execpc.com/~aggybong/

Thats what I was saying as well SHS, that the older drivers even though they said there is ddraw it didnt work because I tried playing dvd movies and it couldnt. But now with the new drivers everything works, and it passes all the tests in dxdiag. with the older drivers it never passed the direct draw test for me. NOw I got agp working ddraw working and d3d working. I still am lost with ur first post when u said "Sorry it not DDraw it Direct3D that why DVD did work before." what is not ddraw? and DVD did NOT work for me before, maybe u had better luck. All I know is I got everything working and I am happy as a camel in water. one more thing with the OLD drivers I was using it said d3d works and so does ddraw BUT ddraw did not work in actuality.

Yeah same here, but Im having 1 problem cant get my lasre printer to work udner rc2 and it works udner rc1, aint that odd?? its a NEC SuperScript 870. Other wis eI would have updated my rc1 to rc2 2 nights ago.

Yes it does dude..... I just took a screen cap of my dxdiag. I tested direct 3d and Ddraw, then never worked for me before with rc2 and they both do now. here is where I uploaded the pic, its 100k jpg file. BUt otehr poeple seem to be having MUCHO success isntalling from their the exact same WD 18 gigger Igot, so maybe Im just a unlucky lose with a ghetto rig . But it does seem to work for many people.

Im still outta luck man. Im running rc1 because of my tnt card. Iv got a spare drave with me I think its dma or something and I dont touch any of my other 4 ide devices, I plug that spare HD in to see if the PC will bootup with a drive on the 66 controller and it still doesnt work with 1.20. It just kind of freezes at the bootup screen. SO Im not even gonna try taking out my ata 66 drive and hooking it up to the controller if it cant even boot with an old dma caviar WD drive.

does not work for rc2, rc2 drivers coming out soon. Moscar I got the same setup if ur using a tnt based card. If ur using a voodoo one then there are different instructions. I thosuld work buddy, amke sure u are using the correct INF. delete all the MS inf's so u knwo ts not using those, and then vice versa when ur putting it back on.

isntall it first using MS's included drivers download the det 2.08 drivers and use those, then revert back to MS's drivers. That should get d3d and opengl working fine.

thats odd, my friends got a killer setup which of course means its got scuzzi. And he booted off a scuzzi cdrom to install onto a ide drive. Maybe Im not reading ur problem right, but I have lil experience with scuzzi.

anybody pelase tell me where I can get that reg file so that I can run nfs3 on win2k. Thank u.

ur not using d3d. ur using opengl

I do everything the readme says, and it gives me a "unkown device error" and goes back to command prompt DOH!...... The only thing I think it could be is the bootdisk I have is not running in "pure dos" mode. If anybody out there who has got it to work could mail me their bootdisk zipped up would be great, my email is jkhan@vt.edu and Im on a t1 so dont worry bout the download, and if u mail it reply to this message so I dont get 20 copies of it thx fellas.
