After enabling then disabling remote desktop, and then renabling switch user ability in User Accounts. The switch user button doesn't do ****!

I figured out that Terminal Services had been disabled as a service, switching that to Auto and starting the service fixed it... Now if only we had Remote Desktop and Switch User available at the same time

The creative Annihilator2 has two black rows of connectors. Elsa sells a Video In/Out adapter for its geforce which also has the same connector. Think it is possible to use it on the creative card, or are there any other options for Video IN/OUT under 50$?

i have the SBLive, and despite new unofficial driver releases, i stayed with 3.78 and i almost NEVER reboot. no problems at all

Set Up: 2 computers, 1 98SE, 1 Win2k Pro win2k has 2 Network Cards 1 is connected to the dsl modem. 1 is connected to a not too great hub wich 98se can connect to. I need to give the 98Se box access to the DSL line (my ISP does through Mac address of the network card, and i dont want another ip (10$))... How do i setup the ICS?!?

Dont use 4.02 I had a similar problem, Itd Burn the TOC (i use Disc at Once) and then itd just say ASPI error, but all the other burning programs work fine

Love the damn things, having icons from the webpages for my favorites (which i put on my link bar). BUT the damn things go away each time i restart or delete the temp internet files then i got to the site, add it to favorites and then delete, BAM, the icon returns, Whats up with that? Is there a way to Force them to stay (think i just found one of the 63,000 bugs oops, should i say annoyances)

My Opinion: Those who pirated it probably wouldn't buy it anyways, so microsoft isnt losing money, they'd still use they're copy of 9x or DOS that came with their system when they bought it or the copy they made when they built their system.

Have you tried using liveware 2000 its available somewhere on the page and works great (basically liveware 3 for Win2k) Even has MPS support I can even play Q3A on R_Smp 1 Check the other threads for the drivers

Heard the 500+ has a harware thing so that SMP doesnt work. like to O'C using a 75MHz bus but not sure if it would work either way... is it worth the upgrade ( will my quake 3 get over 30FPS?)

had the same problem with the realMagicDVD Ventura card (same people make the DXR2) they said that becuase mine is an OEM card the OEM is supposed to supply drivers, well, i dont have access to drivers, so how can i even get any, other than the ones on the disk which dont seem to want to install.

well this is sort of a strange one. I got this card recently for pretty cheap. however Win2k just sees it as a Multimedia Controller and i cant seem to get the drivers (ANY) installed. I emailed SigmaDeisgns asking them, anyone have any other ideas?

well, im using the 2500's and i get all 5 speakers. Dont know if the 2000's have a little DolbySurround thing or something on the control that can just do CMSS (rear emulation by creative) but if there is a little switch try it

im using a Sblive with the Creative DTT2500 Speakers (5.1) with just the standard stereo input and i have been getting full surround (then again these speakers can make Mono into 5.1 just not TRUE 5.1) Yeah cant wait for drivers.

If you want to change refresh rates in DX there is a easier way through power strip. nVidia write good drivers they just dont release every version publically on thier site- reserved for the best driver.

Just curious have you turned off PCI steering from the hundreds of other posts ive heard that can help. Plus have you tested Quake3 SMP without the Live, cause i think it might be the G400. Value Kingston 100TX SMP works fine using chameleon's drivers or the WDM drivers. its the 3.66 drivers im curious about, i might chage to the 3.55 from ASUS (betaos.com) they ran stably even in RC2

that doesnt seem right that UT works but Q3 doesnt! either you havew a bad quake 3, a bad quake 3 CFG or a bad install. try using r_smp 0, if you have a smp system cuase that could be a conflict with other drivers!

Search is hard to see for some of the people that dont have eyes to see that search link. Try different driver version from nVidia. Betaos.com has some that work quite well...

have you tried looking under the disk managment under administrative tools->Copmuter Managment? It should either say that there is a partition or free space, might be worth changing it to a logical drive.
