Has anybody been able to run GP3 in Win 2000? Game starts fine, then goes through a series of video calibration tests at various resolutions. I get severe clipping at all resolutions. I am not overclocking the videocard, and I don't have this problem in any other games. I have also tried installing the patch on Hasbro's website. Any ideas?

I used to be able to right click on a contact in Outlook and dial their number with my PCI modem. I have not been able to do this in Win 2000. I get the error message "An internal error occurred in the automatic phone dialer" I get similar messages when trying to use the Phone Dialer included with Win 2000. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks, Brian

Using roadrunner cable modem through PCI network card...every time I reboot Win 2000 loses the TCP/IP settings and I can't connect. I then have to go into network settings and uninstall TCP/IP protocol and reboot. I then have to reinstall TCP/IP and all's well. But it loses it again the next time I reboot. I have tried to reinstall TCP/IP from the Win 2000 CD, but can't seem to find the file or folder it looks for. Any suggestions? Or am I going to have to reinstall Win 2000? Thanks for any help... Thanks, enabling APM worked. Now Win 2000 turns it off automatically.

When I shut down Win 2000 RC2 I get the message "it is now safe to turn off your computer" But my case (Aopen HX-08) has an electric switch, not a mechanical switch, so it has no effect. I need to hit the reset button and reboot to the bootmenu screen. Then the switch works. Win 98 and RC1 automatically shut down the computer. Is there some way I can reenable this with RC2? My MB is an ABIT BX-6 Rev. 2. Thanks, Brian bmorgan1@rochester.rr.com

I just finished upgrading from RC1 to RC2. Installation was uneventful (except it couldnt find driver for old ISA scanner SCSI card) but now, every time I boot up I get a blank screen with nothing but the wallpaper and the mouse pointer. I can finish the boot process by bringing up the task manager, hitting the "new task" button and manually entering c:/winnt/explorer.exe. Then the boot process finishes and everything works, except I cannot start Windows Explorer from Start Menu. Wierd. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...By the way, I have already tried to create a new user, already tried to reinstall, and even tried a fresh installation. Still get same problem. Any ideas? Thanks! bmorgan1@rochester.rr.com P2@500 BX-6 Rev2 128 MB 20 GB HDD, 10 GB HDD TNT2 Ultra / Voodoo 2 MX-300 SCSI Plextor 40X SCSI Yamaha 4416s CD-RW SCSI scanner

Just installed RC2 over RC1 and I finally have a working joystick port again!! It seems that they finally included working drivers for Vortex 2 cards.

I have TNT2 on RC2 (upgraded from RC1)and Q3A seems to work great under Open GL. I also have a voodoo 2 and Falcon 4 runs fine in Glide, but can't get any games to run in D3D using either V2 or TNT2

I actually had the drivers set up and sound working using the reference drivers from Aureal on Beta 3, then installed RC1 over Beta 3 and the sound kept working. But I still can't get the joystick port to work.

The sound works great, but I still have no joystick support. I see there are new drivers, but will these get my joystick to work? I'd hate to screw up my audio if the new drivers won't fix my problem. Also I've seen posts on getting the SB live to work joysticks...are there any similar ways to accomplish the same with the MX300? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
