you have 2.08/2.09 drivers? it looks like crap with the 1.91 drivers....

From what I understand, most DVD players don't even support NT fully, so drivers for the drives in 2k are very slow in development(and decoder cards are even worse). On a kinda high note, most of the drives actually read cd's just dandy as generic atapi drives, meaning that you can at least RUN in the meantime.

Beta drivers and a BIOS revision for the ultra-66 problem are available on thresh's firing squad page. These drivers reportedly work on beta-3 and rc1. Makes that wd expert seems even more attractive, now doesn't it?

Do Tell, How do you have your HD and cd wired; I still can't get mine to read the hd at all (though DOS will). Are you using the ide 3 for the u-66?
