Not really application specific, sorry. Thought I might get more of a response in this group tho.. Anyway, firstly my system cannot hibernate anymore? I used to be able to in RC1/2 IIRC, but cannot in 2195 (yes I have it enabled). Problem occurs when I boot the system after I have hibernated. Progress bar (text mode one right at start of win2k bootup) gets to full, then computer freezes. My other problem relates to DUN. Recently, I seem to have developed randomly disappearing dialup networking connections, this isn't because i've logged in under the wrong user or anything, sometimes they just all disappear. If i login again, they come back. Only two items that remain are my LAN connection and "add new connection". Any ideas? Virus?

Sorry for my ignorance but I've not been to this forum for a while and don't have the time to trawl through the archives looking to see if my question's been answered but: Fresh install Win2K Pro 2195, install current v3 win2k retail drivers from 3dfx webby, v1.0.0, yet I am unable to change anything related to direct 3d, though direct 3d obviously works because I can run the direct 3d tests in dxdiag. Why is this option disabled in the v3 control panel. I also use a little utility called v3oc to disable vsync, but I can't for d3d because it's disabled in the property page for this also. Any ideas? Thanks for your time, Mark.

I have noticed, on every win2k build I have (including the latest RC2) that my PS2 mouse doesnt seem to be immediate in games, namely Quake II. Has anybody else experienced anything similar? (i have tried with numerous PS2 mice using different built in PS2 drivers and also increased the sampling rate....but it still doesn't feel immediate). Ta very much... marky:p

Build 2099. I have also tried it on build 2072, but again couldn't get DX working properly...I have a DxDiag log available if anybody wants to see it. Many thanks, Mark.
