Hi - this should be an easy question for you. I am running NT4 SP5 and am about to update to Win2k. For various reasons I am going to update and not do a clean install, and yes, I am aware of the implications of that step... What I want to know is, do I change my BIOS settings to Plug and Play OS: Yes? At present obviously it is set at No for NT4. If I do change it, at what point do I do so? After the installation is complete, before starting, halfway? Will Win2k be able to identify and configure my hardware successfully without this change? Thanks for the advice

I suspect that the Montego does not run under Win2k, but I will find out soon enough. Can anyone tell me if the Videologic SonicFury (i.e. Turtle Beach Santa Cruz) ships with win2k drivers on CD? I can see that they are available for download from the website, but at 24Mb I am not interested in spending half a day online to pull them. Thanks

Is it possible to do a full clean installation using the upgrade CD? I am not trying to cheat the system, but am about to buy the upgrade CD and it occured to me that if the OS screwed up and I needed to reinstall, I wouldn't want to have to wipe the disk, install NT4 and then upgrade to Win2K. What is the procedure for a clean install using the upgrade disk?? Thanks

I note that someone has posted a message saying that they can't get Tiberian Sun to run using DX5. But it also says that it runs under NT in the game section of this site. Does anyone have any official word from Westwood as to whether NT is supported? I couldn't find a thing on their website.

...so you're jsut running it using plain old DX3?
