Has anyone installed W2k on an Athlon K7 system with the Asus K7M motherboard? I was just wondering if it would be as compatable as Intel systems.

Same belony here..... My mx300 in smp works like crap.

Quake3 doesnt support R_SMP 1 for the Voodoo3 You have to have a Nvidia or Ati based card for SMP support.

Thanks for the answer..... Im a bit shocked about how few apps and games that realy support SMP. Ahh well, life goes on :-)

Does anyone know if there is any SMP support for Unral? If so, how do you enable it?

nope...I use a dma33 hd to boot up on. If I disconnect the dma66 drive, then w2k boots´s up fine again. just cant figure it out... :-(

Has anyone tried to install an Asuscom isdn-ta modem? When i install mine, I reboot and then the famous blue-screen comes up and says something about a file "linkisdn.sys" Anyone know what to do?

Does anyone know if Quake3 can run SMP in windows 98? I have tried to run it in w98, but i have a Voodoo3 and q3 doesn´t support the voodoo3 with smp.

When I install the dma66 driver for my IBM dma66 HD, my system will only boot up halfway, and then it just stalls.. I have downloaded the latest beta bios for my bp6 and installed the driver that came with the new bios. I use W2k build 2072. Any ideas about my problem?
