The voodoo GL driver doens't support SMP at this point. Perhaps they will incorperate it at a later date but as it stands now voodoo = no smp q3.

If the company is bankrupt then chances are your F**ked. Get a new tv card =)

Completely wrong...3dfx is working on 1 set of drivers for all models, 2000, 3000, and 3500, They have said it themselves and the 3dfx cards I install at work now only have one cd for them all......so bet your ass they are working on them....... The newest drivers have amazing tv out compared to the last time I tried it, so be patient......

Thats Definately a refresh rate problem.

I totally agree with johnny.....i set up my dads PC in about 3 clicks......simple as pie and security is fine as long as you don't have file and printer sharing on for the cable connection and just the lan connection.

Or you could simply change from full screen to a window and then close the window with the x in the upper right corner =) Worked great for me.....now the new drivers don't crash.

Or you can use the latest voodoo3 drivers on my web site....... shhhhhh quiet though...3dfx may get annoyed that we are happy and don't mind using beta drivers [This message has been edited by Seldzar (edited 29 January 2000).]

WHy couldn't you? IF the game works on win2k and your network works of course you will be able to play.

Get some New developer drivers at http://seldzar.dhs.org DVD on my tv out has never looked so good and the opengl performance is drastically improved.

Nascar, dude....what is the file versions of your voodoo3.dll and voodoo3.sys? You probably have SHS's old INF file and driver kit....the newest one works much better for everything. Yakbak, get out of 32bit dekstop and go to 16 or 24. Also set all your q3 settings to default and don't change the texture color or color depth, leave them at default. Also if your using a voodoo3 2000 and you are using the v3win2k-beta2.exe, try the fiels from my page http://seldzar.dhs.org in the fiels section. Also if you could let me know what your voodoo3.dll and .sys version numbers are fromt he files you downloaded that would be great, thanks.

Of course your PC notices 2 cpu's, thats the bios' job. Everything in your computer has to be recognised and identified before it even gets anywhere near an OS. Uninstall the card from device manager and ensure any driver files were removed. Then reboot and let windows install it again.

You don't have better drivers. The drivers at chameleons site are the same as mine at http://seldzar.dhs.org and they are as new as you will find. You probably have the older drivers. Check the voodoo3.sys and .dll version numbers. And my q3 works fine and looks good with those drivers.

Bump the voltage in SMALL increments....such as 2.05, 2.1, 2.15, 2.2, 2.3 etc.......

And what build has dx 7a? I'm using the final and it's dx 4.07.00.0700. As far as i know that would be the final dx7 there's no 'A' anywhere.

Simple it would go in the other direction, 2195.1 would be the 120 day trial and 2195.3 would be the non trial.....MS doesn't count backwards....do you?...Now, I have *2195.3* and dosnet.inf says it's that....however the win95upg.inf says it's 2195.1. SO what do we know at this point? 2195.3 is most likely Coreutils being creative and F**king with us. The difference is that they changed the numebrs. There is only 2195.1 and the trial period is based on your cd key. If I'm wrong? Whoopie do! People don't run sh*t like seti@home cause it tends to slow the F**K out of your machine as it is a greedy bastard hoggin cpu cycles from your other apps and services. It may be for a good cause and all but why am i cooling down my cpus? To preserve them not to have then running some insanely intensive program that will keep them as hot as then can get with my hsf combo. The point is cooler cpu = longer life and better performance. I like my puter being fast and quick ALL THE TIME, no matter what i'm doing. Not slow and sluggish like i'm using a p200 with programs like seti@home running. If you don't like running cpu idle ....umm then don't.....it's not the only thing a puter can run ya know...there's this thing called multiasking....my computer does it very well.

Try creating a new account on your icq and see if that loads. If it does then you know it's your icq database.

On good word, you know who =), they will be out on the 31st or so.......
