wow i have a better computer than you cept the vid card i only have a tnt2 and i can only play 640x480, i guess glide code is better. no i have not had any problems, cept alt tabbing doesn't change the resolution back but thats nothing really bad.

yeah, i was running 5.16 detonators... so someone says 5.13 works? we should try out 5.22 also

Can anyone get this to install? For me, when I start up the installer, it goes to the create disks screen and starts asking for floppies and I can't accept the licence agreement to install PM. If I finish creating both floppies it jusy says the installation is done, but it hasn't done anything except create those 2 backup floppies. Any ideas?

Hey, I'm wondering what API ppl with nVidia cards play UT with? I run OpenGL and its kinda choppy. I know its not my system because all the other FPS games run fine. It says I should be getting a minimum of 30 fps... but its worse than that IMO.

I have 16 gb free on my new Quantum LM hardrive... yet when I run the Adaptec installer, it says that I have like 3mb free and I won't install. Any ideas?

it never worked for me, i had the s3 set as primary boot up in the bios, but when i tried to extend my desktop onto my 2nd monitor the computer always hung.

longest i had my computer running consecutively was 1 week and 2 days... i don't think there is an uptime bug, but stuff might start getting screwed up if your computer does stay on for a long time...

Anyone have this problem? When I'm running the AVS in window mode, my cpu usage stays around 100% usage... not good? Any ideas?

Seldzar told me that the SiS 6326 4mb PCI card thats about 40cdn supports dual monitor. I'm getting one of those as soon as I have time.

I tried what you said, I set my Virge PCI to load first in the bios and when the computer boots everything is on that monitor. Once I get into Windows, that monitor just stops at the loading screen and my big monitor with the tnt2 activates. When I try to extend my desktop to the Virge monitor it goes black and the system freezes. Both Video cards are using IRQ 11 if thats a problem? The Tnt2 is 16mb using 5.13 Detonators. http://members.home.com/s.p.a.c.e.y/help.gif shows my setup... Any help is greatly appreciated.

hrm interesting, lemme know if that works out because i have an tnt2 and an s3 virge 375 and i'd like to run dual monitor also. what bios setting did you have to play with? changing agp to boot second? but would this affecting games in anyway? like when i play q3 would it run on my tnt2 and 2nd monitor? thanks SpaceY

Yeah, mine works fine too. Taking up about 4 megs of ram at the moment.

i'm running final. well there's a check box to turn off ipx, did you try that? what port are you running? oh yeah, i had to change it from the default port because something was weird.. try running with -port 27016 in the command line, that should do it hope that helps

hrm, i've ran servers ok with out that problem... but I have ipx disabled. you might wanna try that. I run quake using a prog called quakeon, a very cool frontend.

CS works like a charm under the 5.13 drivers for me...

yeah it happens to me too.. I think.. i've only tried with display drivers. it gives me an error (when logged in as admin) that a specified file cannot be found.. but when you do a fresh win2k install i can install them fine.. its only after if i try and reinstall or upgrade drivers it busts.

you have to upgrade to the latest version (1.0.1.6)

Someone told me that if you goto Control Panel Accessibility Options Sticky Keys Settings and uncheck all those options it helps! I'm trying it out...
