You should check out the Hotmail options and information pages. I know yahoo supplies all that server info, perhaps Hotmail will too.

The only problem I have is with multiplayer. The brightness is not quite bright enough so I tried to turn it up - now I can't change it at all, and it's bloody dark. Nothing worse than trying to kill a Klingon I can't see.

Just get the MS Select Editions of all products - no CD keys required. Even Office 2000 doesn't need registering. I love the select system.

You have to go into options in your Yahoo account and set the option for "pop and web access". This will allow you to access the Yahoo pop3 and smtp, whilst still allowing you to access over the web.

You should try MemTurbo from http://www.memturbo.com I use it and it works well. I set it to defrag and flush the free memory every 60mins. It's the SBLive drivers. I been testing this with a friends computer. Fresh installs up to sound card drivers. I installed full LiveWare 3 and he installed just the Live drivers. The boot time is the same for both. I wouldn't be too worried. If this person is only port scanning or DoS'ing you they are likely to be an AOL Lamer script kiddie. Most likely they've just discovered Retina and WinNuke and are trying it on any host that will reply to a ping. Try posting a message on your ISP noticeboard to see if anyone else in your IP range is having trouble with this d.ick. What you should be worried about is if it is sniffing unsecure packets. Do you telnet into any UNIX servers? If so, download an SSH client and use that instead of the telnet client as some UNIX passwords are sent clear text. Meanwhile, download GeoBoy and get a trace on his/her/its arse. Once you have this, get your ISP to contact the d.icks ISP and threaten legal action for compromising the network or some bullsh1t like that. Happy hunting.

I'll email you a copy of the ASPI files. Follow the directions in the text file as per directories then reboot. Go to the Adaptec website and download aspi32.exe and aspichk.exe Run aspi32.exe and it should update your ASPI layer, reboot and you should have a working layer.

Just finished testing my TNT2 and it works perfectly under Win2k using detonator 3 drivers. It works with all my games including: AOE2 Conquerors Half-Life Porsche Unleashed ST New Worlds ST Elite Force Carmageddon II Carmageddon 2000.
