aww **** man do some research for gawd sake! I had to!! Goto the GT site and search for driver. There is an upgrade patch there. WHen I said "I had it running OK" that's exactly what I meant. AND when I said "except I couldn't get to the key config screen sucessfully" that too is exactly what I meant. The darn options for keys wouldn't allow me to change anything!! have you guys installed the latest patches? I had it running OK, except I couldn't get to the key config screen sucessfully, might have just been me though.

If you shouldn't use it under NT4, then you probably shouldn't use it under 2k either. Considering it is, after all, NT

What drivers are you using?? The newer detonator drivers are for the latest builds of 2k ONLY. I think the last compatible tnt driver for 2128 is 3.56 (someone correct me if I'm wrong) So I think it's about time you upgraded to 2195.

Maybe it IS the drivers you are using?? goto www.win2knews.com and underfiles section, there are drivers for your ZIP drive. See if they are any better.

you MUST have the modem switched ON when you turn on the machine, or 2k will not know it's there. it sucks ass I know, but it's like that.... and that's the way it is!

Easiest way I found so far, was to sign up with Mplayer and let it update it for you. All works bweaut!! Now, if only we could fix the sticking keys.....

What'st eh version in your dosnet.inf in \i386 on the CD and NTOSKRNL \winnt\system32??

HA! sorry for the late response YuppieScum, but no, I got em installed perfectly, ran pretty good, NO format. Too bad I had to go back to NT4 because my F*****G SCSI card(s) keep giving ASPI errors in EZ CD! Oh well, mebe in a week or so I'll be back into it

Have you upgraded Rogue Spear?? If not, there's a patch out there but I could't get it to work, said couldn't find eax.dll or something. however, I did find one that works great!! I became a member of Mplayer.com, it upgraded RS for me, and it works great! I have no idea what patch this is, but it fixes 2k registry issues and runs terrific!

Did you read the README that comes with the drivers??? I had probs with the detection of a suitable drivers, not finding the the new driver. Removing the old drivers manually failed too, so I had to format (again) and updated. This worked fine

well, I'm still posed with my lil problem: Format required for update!! Only up[censored] with 3.69 was I able to just update and still have full functionality, but now, hmpfh. Seems only Q3a want's me to format. *shrug* Ohh well, fixed a few other probs too, so all is good!
