Could my Yamaha opl3-sax (yah I know, not a great soundcard but that'll change later) crash games that are heavily cpu intensive with lots of sounds and textures, etc..? Specifically,I'm talking about Half-Life: Counter-Strike. If you could help me work out a solution, reply here or email me: deyja@subdimension.com

im running an old rc2 beta... i just want to mainly know if the game support is any better on the final release (professional) then any of the betas?

ok thanks..yeah i have some important modified stuff that i really dont want to re-modify..so im going to weed out through the registry. thanks again.

thanks yeah im gonna start upgrading after i backup some stuff. would it be wise to just do a new registry backup (full backup of entire registry) then import it after i upgrade? or just weed through the registry for those important registry entries?

anyone got this game to work under similar hardware and build? even the gta2 manager gets dr watson all fired up.

I have a voodoo2 card as my oGL setup, while my mga200 does the D3D most of the time. For some reason Homeworld goes blank, monitor clicks twice, then it returns to desktop...I'm not sure if its the DX7 release or its the mga200 drivers. Anyone got a clue?

hmmm...i found out that it only happened with the 1.3 patch, i could run the missions in 1.01 (retail release) very strange.. hopefully they will fix this problem =\
