Well you're probably right! Besides THE **** STILL DOESN'T WORK!!! Maybe it's the graphics-card which is ****ed up! And to think I just bought it!
-
Thanks for the help - the problem is now solved. Formatted and installed Win98
-
I'm not so sure of that! I got the latest ones (6.47 i think) and I would assume they work fine? But maybe I should try and install some others..

Just a quick - yet very crusual question! Whenever I try to play a game it's on for about 1 min. and then it hangs! When I'm in programs and just Windows 2000 itself nothing is wrong. It's a brand new computer so the hardware should be fine! Besides, it worked when I used Windows ME. Please help me caus I really dont want to format my drive!
-
Works fine on my computer too!! Could it be that it's not the original version you have??
-

take a look at the topic... just saying! But damn it's annoys me when people post this #"!#".. Can't they get a warning or something and get banned after 2 or 3 warnings... just an idea.

Ok thanks! I'll try and fiddle around with this problem a bit more but thats it... I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens but I hope you can understand why I'm so frustrated. About the software, I'll see if I can't find anything shareware first since I'm very cheap (Just kidding!) but since I live in Denmark I'd probably have to go through all kinds of stuff to get that software, so for now it's hunting at Tucows! Thanks for the help!

Ok... Here the thing. Thanks for the replies btw.! I have tried everything everybody tells me to do.. Before I posted this message in the first place. I tried shifting around my memory blocks (alone - it's 2 128MB RAM block - they work fine! but together... Thats were the trouble starts!). It's random places the errors occur, sometimes when accessing a subfolder in the Explorer or when I click an icon... It's seems very strange and if I can't get this damn thing to work I'll go mad! Think about it! I have 128MB of memory just lying around used only to collect dust! I hope you can understand my frustration.

Ok here the thing. My computer has 128MB Ram and a MS6169 Athlon Motherboard. Whenever I try to install new ram, in this case 128MB more, Windows crashes sometimes with an error saying something about MEMORY DUMP FAILED AT ADDRESS 1231231451"##!%#!% Whatever!!! I tried all kinds of RAM also one the excact same as the one I have now but nothing works! It's the same thing over and over again. This error also occured on my old PC and that is whats puzzling me. Is it a motherboard config. or something??? Please help. Thanks.

Try looking at the Win2k section... I think your problem (or similar) is posted as well as solved there...
