Either goto Computer Management OR Right-click My Computer icon, properties, Hardware tab Then goto Device Manager Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers Double-click Primary IDE Channel Goto Advanced Settings Select PIO only from the list box for both drives if installed Do the same with the next controller in Device Manager called... Secondary IDE Channel Hope it helps

If it is ... a cordless mouse then the Remote sensor is too near the mouse. Believe it or not, it helps to put something in front of the sensor to block it a little. It is Radio technology, so it does not need a view like Infra-red. If it is not ... a cordless mouse then hmmm ...

Open Control Panel Administrative Tools Computer Management Go to Storage Removable Storage Physical Locations Right click your CD Writer Choose properties Go to Media tab Click the change button next to types If you have a CDR drive then select and add CD-ROM and CD-R If you have a CD-RW drive then select and add CD-ROM and CD-RW Press OK Reboot Install the latest ASPI drivers from : http://www.adaptec.com/support/files/upgrades.html#ASPI All should work now ... NOT SURE ... I am not sure but I had a similar problem and I assumed that meant that it can't read the CD (Library). Look in Computer Management.

Virtual Drive 2000 v5.0 from http://www.farstone.com/english/tech.htm works fine for me on RC3. It supports Win2000.

ASPI drivers are installed in Win2000... You have a SCSI card? You can get the latest ASPI update from Adaptec at : http://www.adaptec.com/support/files/upgrades.html#ASPI
