go to the cpu voltage settings an try upping the I/O setting...try 3.4 and then 3.5 and so on...I had to put mine to 3.5 for stability. 3.6 locked my system though..so don't go to high. If you lock at post...just shut off computer and wait 15sec and hold down the insert key and turn it on and after detection of the hard drives start go back into cmos and go down a notch. default is 3.3 good luck

are you overclocking at all. are you running that pc66 at 100mhz. what are your system specs?

I cant even get a temp file. I get the old setup.exe has generated errors and will be shut down. a log is being created. I am choosing windows 98 in the o/s section and selecting autorun, not setup. not sure what is going on...any suggestions thanks

UT runs great on my K7 550@750 so its not your processor. I will need more info to help you..like a detailed install info. did you try fresh install on win2k and then UT without any updates or patches. what type of MB and Memory. did you try moving memory to different dimm slots... check it out and get back to me. Sigma designs link for the drivers is down. I have been trying for 2 days. Anyone know where I can get the hollywook plus drivers for this card? Thanks Michael

try fooling around with the ide connectors and cables. I had the same problem and I just fiddled around with the cables and connectors and it works now. The other thing is try a different configuration or the drives and cdroms. that's about all I can suggest

How did you get nero to install? I get a message that say nero will support Win2k after the official release.

My transfer rate for my Kenwood 52X Cd-Rom is very slow in Win2k, does anyone know why? It works fine is Win98. Why no UDMA in WIN2K? Asus K7M Athlon 550@750

I need some help. My kenwood TrueX cdrom is very slow in Win2k. I benched marked the cdrom and it was like a 16X. The drive is a 52X. I have DMA emabled in the Device Manager. How do I enable UDMA? Asus K7M Bios 1008 Athlon 550@750 SBL X-gamer 196 MB Micron

How do I install this in Win2k. I keep get the message that Win2k will be supported after the official release. I check there site and found no reference to Win2k. Is 4.09 the one I am suppose to use?
