There are several programs that load at start up that I want to disable but I don't know how to. I Winblows98 I could go to system tools and System info to the startup group and just remove the check mark and reboot and I would have more system resource memory free. How do I do this in Win2k? Also what is the IDW logging tool? Thanks

Rogue:The latest instructions are the ones on the front page. Thos are not the ones I used. I used the previous instructions. The new ones are a little different. I haven't tried those yet. When I installed the 4.0 drivers I had no sound at all but I continued to follow the instructions. Is the launcher at the top of your screen just not coming down? If you can see it there and you put your mouse there and it won't come down try clicking you left mouse button. It is not set to come down by just putting your mouse there. If this is not what you are talking about in step three please be more specific.

No I didn't fight with my wife, it just fit in the song. I guess the wave device on the modem is causing some kind of conflict with the SBL card.

In Build 2160 I run my 366@550 without a problem....played lots of UT Lator Gator

That is not the problem. There is a problem with a capacitor on the card. If you mail it to me I will fix it and send if back. It is what allow you to see desktop icons if Window 2000 only. You will not get this problem in win98 so your card will appear to be working correctly......hehehe( please allow 6-8 months for shipping.....)hehehe The 3.53 drivers are the only ones I got to work with Win2k build 2160. The 3.56 I got no AGP support.

Hey Phil, I got the NT4 drivers to work but the SBLive propertios says that there are no drivers installed for this device. I have sound and my playcenter works but my launcher still hangs. I have installed Liveware!2, I can't seem to get three to install. I was hoping to get 2 installed 1st and then move on to 3. What did you do to get your card to work with 4.0 drivers? Michael

Talk about frustrated...I did totaly disabled the modem...no go. I did get liveware 3.0 to install once. Only after I installed the CD first and then Liveware 3. Either the sound would not work or the launcher wouldnot work, so I reformatted and reinstalled...again... not I can't duplicate it. I reformatted...again, and tried again. No luck. It hangs on the setup part after I renamed setup.ex_ to setup.exe. I double-click setup.exe the wizard goes to 100% and nothing. I am using a abit Bx6 rev 2.0 MB and a non overclocked 366. Sblive Value and a TNT2U video card, a Diamond SupraExpress 56i. Let me know what you think. Lator Gator.

Phil, It seems the only time I can get thru the 1st step of the Liveware install is just after I format and reinstall. It always hangs at the setup part. I am using build 2160 and Live Value. Does this make a difference? Nobody seems to know the answer to this question. I did what you said but the setup won't even run is step on of the process. Should I run liveware 2.0 first? what about 2.1? Please help, I have been at this for 3 days, and noone here will answer my post. Thanks Phil

I have tried for about 6 hrs to install liveware 3.0. No luck so far but I am not ready to give up. Should I install 2.0 first? I am following SHS instructions but no luck. I am using build 2160, could this be the problem? Any help you could give me would be great. Thanks

Ok, I am following SHS Liveware fix, I have finally renamed the setup.ex to setup.exe, now when I get to that part of the fix the install wizard goes to 100% and that is it. What am I doing wrong?...please help me. Thanks

I just tried to print some CD Labels in Neato Mediaface and I got an error that I am out of memory and I may need to close some applications. I have 128 mb and I can print in wordpad and notepad. I even can print the same jpeg. Does anyone have any Idea why? I have also upgraded to the lates version of the software and tried that. I have build 2160. Thanks...

It is not telling me acess is denied or anything like that. it is saying this.....the module is incomplete. Also the file extenstion is not changed to an application file. And in order to get the NT4DRV in the same directory and the setup folder I have to put it their from anoter .exe folder from a liveware 3.0 NT program.

I have an Epson Stylus 440. I don't have any other programs that will print CD-labels. Thanks for helping me....

First of all I have build 2160, I have installed Liveware 2.0. The installation went ok but the creative launcher say's it is not responding. Does anyone know how to repair this? Thanks

I had the same problem with build 2160. The drivers that came with this build where Microsoft 3.53. I installed the Nvidia version and all is well. Give it a shot. If that doesn't work try different drivers. Hope it helps. Lator Gator
