Zoom Internal ISA Model 2819 Modem

Ok, its not a duel modem or anything. It is a simple ISA v90 modem. I have the same thing (I got the v90 flash right when it came out)... Is your modem in PnP or Legacy mode? Mine is in Legacy mode (works in Linux!). I suggest putting it in legacy mode... I dont know where you got those weird instructions, or why you thought they were for your modem. Just tell Win2k to add a modem, "Internal 56K Faxmodem (PnP)" should do fine.. I have drivers for it (just an INF file since it is a good old hardware modem).. it lists it as a "Zoom 56k". Very simple. I run the modem in 33.6 mode, becaus 56k isnt too reliable for online gaming - which takes up 80% of my internet time at home. e-mail me at xenomatrix AT hotmail.com if you have any questions. ------------------ http://xenomorph.net
  2. I'm using AverMedia's WDM Bt8x8 drivers (as suggested from the NT Compatible site), and those install fine. Most TV programs I use look for a registry entry for the WDM capture device. All those programs find is my WebCam. How would I get the AverMedia drivers to add the needed registry keys? What drivers workbest for the STB TV PCI? (Brooktree 848). I tried Happauge's drivers, but they didn't work on my card.

    Banshee/Gamma Help!

A fresh/clean install of Win2k lets 3D games work on my Banshee, but 3d games have always been dark at default Gamma settings. After loading up Kool Smoky's Control Panel to adjust my gamma, 3D no longer works on the Banshee. Im going to re-install Win2k to get 3D working again - but I need a way to make Direct3D games brigher. What registry keys do I need to add and where?

i have a STB TV PCI. there are no NT drivers for it. i tried the drivers sugest on NT Compatible, but then again I cant find a TV program anywhere to test out the card! Has anyone been able to view TV with the STB TV PCI card? Has anyone gotten DVD to work with a Creative Labs Dxr2 board? I have the WDM drivers loaded, but I believe the Creative DVD player said it couldnt find my DVD hardware.
