    Q3demo, RC2128, Voodoo3

OK, I'll restore the original opengl.dll. Have glide2 & 3, the date on these two files are 3-20-1999.

    Q3demo, RC2128, Voodoo3

I reviewed most all of the other posts and I couldn't find an answer...I still wonder if I have all the driver stuff straight. Its got me confused. I used Seldzar's W2k Voodoo3 driver. That made Q2 work properly. Then on Q3demo, I get the gray screen/bomb. I tried doodling with 3dfxOGL, renaming it to 3dfxvgl and putting it in the \\system32 folder. And copying the opengl32.dll from Q3demo folder to \\system32 folder. Nothing has helped. Cheers! Ray

    Q3demo, RC2128, Voodoo3

After loading up Seldzar's driver, I got Q2 working properly, so I thought I'd try Q3demo. When I start Q3demo, the screen goes all grey/white for a minute then bombs w/ W2k error box. The last message I could read on the console said was "GLW_STARTOPENgl ()-could not load opengl subsystem." What the heck does that mean?

    W2k RC2, Voodoo3, Quake2

Thanks, Seldzar.....yes.....you da man! Q2 is back to normal. W2k reported the 3dFx driver as being "older", but who cares. I see a lot about Q3, where can I download it? Cheers! Ray

    W2k RC2, Voodoo3, Quake2

After clean RC2-2128 install, I installed Quake2 and all the patches, but it looks like crap! I select 3dFx under video option and it bombs back to "software". This really sucks. I downloaded & tried to install the latest driver from 3dFx, but it wouldn't install. I am currently using the default W2k Voodoo3 drivers. What can be the problem? Cheers! Ray
