.NFO files are usually just general info files about the program or whatever you downloaded. Its also a way of groups and people to keep track of where the file has been.

lol i can imagine having a friend over. Hey Don't trip over my vid card cord. LOL, or when the power goes out you need a seperate UPS just for the vid card LOL
-
I didnt understand that either..care to elaborate for us?
-
sorry man i dont think there is.

Is there any difference in performance?

its best to have a gaming user set up as a poweruser to just play games on. -
try it in whistler and see. Whistler will whoop the living shit out of ME and 2k.
-
whistler does suck. Im not kidding either, im serious. Im going back to DOS 1.0 man, i know none of my hardware will work but who gives a shit i mean anything is better than this POS OS, I would rather take MAC-OS or Winblows ME <~~~ yeah it does).

1. To burn the .ISO use CDrwin and i think its the tools menu you use and there should be a drop-down menu at the top when you get to the tools screen. From there select record and ISO image file. Then you just select the location of the ISO and press burn 2. The .NFO file should be opened in notepad and use the terminal font for best results 3. .SFV files are used to verify the integrity of the RAR files to make sure there are no CRC errors without having to unRAR them that should be enough help if its not just post a reply and i will take screen shots and post em

Use Win2k or Whistler, as stated before ME is crap and belongs in the garbage can.
-
i dont know but im interested in knowing too if anyone has an answer.

can anyone here tell me how windows 2000 prints 'print jobs'
ThC 129 replied to Cypress's topic in Software
when im using office and print something it prints page one then 2 ect -
check the control panel\users settings then click on the user that is logged on and you just go to the properties of that user and there should be a display logon welcome screen or use classic mode.

yeah i think he should get a nintendo since it seems PCs are too complicated. THATS IT this playstation is too complicated, i can't put in a CD and press power. Im going back to Nintendo, all my nintendo games worked on that!!! Next time you want a question answered post your system specs and driver revisions. Maybe checking the error log would help too.

the company will probably need to put out a patch but who knows it might actually be fixed by the whistler team in someway. Too early to tell.
-
they need to make the find button bigger then
-
in short the API calls the programs made to the OS in Win2k are different in Whistler so it trys telling the OS 'hey i need this this and this here here and here' but the problem is that they arent in the same spots they were in win2k so the program crashes. Thats the elemantary preschool definition.

yeah its not going to come out until hell freezes over. So get large quantities of ice and send em to hell.
-
yeah i cant get it to work either. Your lucky it works for you SHS since nobody else i know can get it working.
-
reinstall the game or copy the game registry entries from the admin user to the power one.

Hehe, nice, now how do I convert from NTFS back to FAT32?
ThC 129 replied to Draftsman's topic in Software
ntfs is faster on 2k because its native. It doesnt fragment half as much as fat32 one of the reasons its faster. Its more secure and more stable than FAT32 ever will be too. -
yeah rollback has saved my ass a few times. Great feature. For those of you who don't know in whistler you can "rollback" to the driver you had on there before. Which is nice when dealing with PITA drivers like the 7.17 drivers can be.
-
thats a wierd number. It just keeps growing and growing...
-
i recommend the nvrefresh program. It will set the refresh rate to the optimal your monitor and vid card can handle with a push of a button. Also get the nvtweak program mentioned in the news, its good too. As for video drivers, anything 6.31 and up is good. The 7 series seems to have problems with some people and none for others. Plus as they said DX 8 helps.
-
no just clean the drivers totally out of your system.
-
Linux!!! Just whine your games to run on it
