are you that lazy that you can't READ DOWN 5 threads to the same f**king question. People wonder why they get flamed...its because people dont bother searching or reading the page.
-
you don't need drivers my 8100+i is fine.
-
bah workstation. As for the problem with the sticking keys you try doing a clean install of 2195. I would rather take a small performance loss in games rather than go back to windoze 98 and have to suffer memory crashes and reboots every 4 hours.
-
hehe thats what we are here for is to make everything work even if its not supposed to =)
-
damn 384 is a hella lot of ram heh
-
I have a copy of both also but I havent installed server to see how well games play on it. In my opinion Pro would probably run games better, though Im not sure.
-
Do a clean install. It is recommended when putting 2195 on from any other version to do a clean install. Try that and see.

No my system uptime has exceeded the 24 hour barrier plenty of times. I reboot my computer maybe once or twice a week

For all you people using the live!ware from dell which is like 2.2 or something I have gotten live!ware 3 to work. Only problem I have had so far is that surround mixer won't work with the dell drivers. Other than that it works fine =)
-
Hey people what are the deal with those dell win2k drivers? Are they just a glorified version of the regular WDM drivers that came with windoze?

What CD-R programe is the best under win2k for copyng protec
ThC 129 replied to Silent-IQ's topic in Games
Works for most games unless they check to see if it is a valid CD. But most non cd-key games will work that way. The only 2 games off hand I know wouldnt work would be half-life and starcraft -
Oooooh rogue spear and counter-strike in EAX support this is going to sound very good *evil grin*

Here is how you copy so called "copy-protected" games. Im not sure if this post will be deleted or not so read it while you can. Step 1. Copy the contents of the CD to the HD Step 2. Burn on to a CD Step 3. Find a no CD crack for the game. I recommend www.megagames.com Step 4. Play and Enjoy -
Hmm mine is working fine. Did you install it in these steps? 1. Right-Click on tweakui.inf and choose install from the menu. 2. Go into your control panel and there should be a new TweakUI icon in there. If there isn't you can get a new copy from www.win2kbox.cjb.net

I think he means go to network properties, and go into the properties of your NIC, and select 10baseT or 10baseTX

I can get LW3 working with the dell drivers but so far the surround mixer isnt
-
try using the universal inf posted on the front page
-
I have a friend that says he likes the dell, personally I like the LW 3. I just miss the surround mixer. To install it just install the dell drivers then run the live!ware 3 setup. If you hear crackling just mute your CD-Audio otherwise it works fine. Im not sure if it will happen with everyone. Also it works with the universal inf [This message has been edited by ThC 129 (edited 20 February 2000).]

Yah I had this problem with the windows CD drivers. Get the dell ones they are much better because you get EAX back and the sound is 100 x better
-
kick ass man maybe this will fix the problem with the surround mixer not working with the dell drivers and liveware 3
-
odd...I have the one from the cd and the web version both don't seem to work..I will screw around some more and see if I can get it working
-
Update: Live!Ware 3 works mostly Problems with this: Surround Mixer doesnt work =(
-
WOW! Thanks shrink now I can reformat my drive since I just did it 2 weeks ago! God I love creative and their fine line of products. Not to mention their great support for us users. Oh well nothing like a nice reinstall/format to brighten up my day

#1. If you try putting it on a PI133 then you might be able to get into windows by time your five course meal is done. #2. The hardware is probably too old. So in other words either stick with 9x or linux on the computer
