Patches WILL be done since MS kinda rules the i386 market, but they won't be done officailly until Feb when W2k is officially released to the public.

    Win2k D3D Acceleration for Banshee

I found that the original banshee drivers that come with W2k final ver works with D3d acceleration, but Glide did not. Downloading the hacked drivers from ntcompatible.cjb.net for the Banshee worked to run Glide but not D3d. Hopefully soon I will figure out how to get both working so I don't have to reinstall the drivers and reboot each time to play the games (some games run in D3d only) but agreed UT is best played in Glide its native API.

    Win2k D3D Acceleration for Banshee

Got em I'll give it a try and see however I didn't see any d3d drivers in the zip file. I did get the GLide to work. Thanks.

    G400, Win2k, Q3a, and a stick.

I don't have a G400, I have a Banshee but I did experience the same problem with Unreal Tournament (it played in a window not full screen). I found out it was becuase the hardware acceleration (in my case Glide in your case D3d) was not running. The window game you get is software mode. You need to enable the OpenGL or D3d for your card (I haven't found a D3d driver for my card yet, hopefully you can find one for yours).

    Win2k D3D Acceleration for Banshee

I have downloaded the Banshee drivers (actually the inf file to be used with the NT 4 drivers). Anyway, Direct3d doesn't work. You suggest to contact you with questions on the V3 drivers, am I to assume those won't work with Banshee? Directx7 is running but there is no hardware acceleration for it. I assume that is becuase the NT4 drivers don't have d3d support (since NT4 never supported it).
