hehe you forgot the AAA-133U2 and AAA-131U cards ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

Don't buy any of these, just wait for the KX-133 boards like Asus' K7V, they're more optimized and cheaper too... See ya... ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

It does not come from your Athlon, I have one and everything works perfect... did you completely uninstall the previous drivers before installing the 3.69 ones? If no, reboot in VGA mode (F8 at startup), uninstall the 3.69 drivers, reboot in normal mode, reinstall them, reboot, and then, everything should be OK ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

You're right Yuppie, get as much RAM as you can afford. I'm running it with 320Mb: it rocks as hell!! My other OS, NT4, is flying with such an amount, a must see!. ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

It's rock stable, I had no crash since I moved to an Athlon 600, both on NT and W2K. It's more stable than my previous setup (PII450 on an ABIT BH6) ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

Except the drivers for my TnT2 card that are very poorly optimized (heh why making brand new kickass drivers for a TnT2 when GeForce is out, it's surely what the guys at nVidia are saying :-( ) everything works fine. There's no choice () SCSI Drives, even if they have a lower peak transfer rate, always perform better, because they can sustain this rate all the time, opposite to IDE drives who have irregular transfer rates (burst). My workstation uses two IBM DDRS-39130 UW-SCSI-2 7200 rpm 9.1Gb hard drives, they perform *much* better than my other puter's IBM DJNA-371350 7200 rpm 13.5Gb HD. ------------------ -=[Reed]=-

Do not worry about Coreutil's ISO release, I've done two installs with this one: an upgrade from RC2 and a clean one on another machine. There's no sign of any time limit, it even removed the one I had on the RC2. After checking, the setupreg.hiv on the CD shows no sign of restriction. One more thing, the dosnet.inf file on the CD shows this : DriverVer=12/07/1999,5.00.2195.1 So, there MAY be a time-bombed 2195.1 AND a non time-bombed one. ------------------ -=[Reed]=-
