Supra Express Problems sorted!!!!!!! under win 2000
Double Doom replied to MACis@'s topic in Hardware
build 2195 comes with supra express drivers included and these work fine with mine. It auto detected correctly. Something win98 didnt and hasnt needed any tweaking. -
I got round that by going back to windows (alt tabbing or ctrl/alt/del) and then going back into starfleet command. Keys worked then

The drivers for Nvidia cards supplied with build 2195 are for basic use only. Download the 3.66 for win2k drivers and these enable direct3d. AGP support is still disabled.
-
I cant get it to work in OpenGl mode but it works fine for me on D3d 32bit 1024x768. I am using 3.65 drivers for win2k. Run dxdiag and under the display tab see if direct3d acceleration is enabled. If not, enable it.

It needs the directx drivers which come with RC3 or 2195. You are running a bit behind with RC2

Probs with my Diamond Supra Express 56i V pro modem and WIN

I have the same modem and win2k 2195 detected the modem correctly and installs the correct drivers. This is something win98 never managed -
Liveware does not work on win2k 2195. I guess creative will get an update out soon

Xentor32 + Win2000 (2195) -- Calling All Xentor32 / TNT2 use
Double Doom replied to Win2KO'd's topic in Hardware
I hae build 2195 and the same card. I have no problems running d3d apps, although the speed is not up to win98 standards. I think that is more down to the tweaking tools not being available in the display tab and the fact that AGP is not supported even though its an AGP card. My only OpenGL game is Tribes and i cannot get it to work in opengl mode, although it does work in software mode. My drivers are 3.65 for win2k
