I have read all the topics on UT I could find, but I dont think that any off them covered my problem: Whenever I fire a grenade (secondary fire with the Rocket Launcher) I don't see smoke -- instead I see black sqaures aorund the greande. I use Win2k build 2195.1 and my videocard is a Creative Annihilator Pro (nVidia GeForce w/ DDR RAM) with the unofficial win2k 3.76 drivers. I have tried the 3.75 and the 3.69 drivers too but that doesn't help. Btw: I get the same black squares in Win98SE while using the official 3.68 drivers. Is there a solution floating around somewhere???

Well... When I choose the software renderer in UT then UT "works" (It starts up up but is offcourse unplayable slow). But when I switch to Glide then UT and Win2k hangs for a while -- and then I get a BSOD [This message has been edited by tiforp (edited 05 January 2000).]

Sorry! I'm really sorry. But: I have read all the voodoo2 posts I could find. I have downloaded drivers to my V2 from 3 different sites (http://win2kbox.8m.com/files.htm , http://w1.191.telia.com/~u19106746/w2k/ and http://ntgamepalace.3dfiles.com/3dfxfaq.htm). Does it matter where I download them from? They seem pretty alike. Anyhow the bad thing is that they don't work. They installs just fine but I cannot get them to work with Unreal Tournament (not in Glide nor in OpenGL). Does anybody know which games the hacked drivers works with - and which doesn't work??
