Playing Dungeon Keeper2 in Win2K Pro, the sound gets screwy. It sounds like two sound files are playing at the same time. Any ideas? System specs: Athlon 700(with 800 core) 256megsPC133 Epox 7KXA mobo Voodoo5 5500 AGP SB Live X-gamers Realtek 8139 NIC Adaptec 2940AU SCSI PCI

I can map the 98SE drive to 2K but from 98SE it asks for a password that I have no idea about. Any suggestions ?

Hmmmmm. . . . Looks like "piracy" has really hurt MS. Sales of 2K are higher than expected. My copy didn't hurt MS.

Man , I need to kiss someone for this ! ! Works GREAT ! Thanks a Million ! !

The easiest way is with TweakUI.

I have tried all the "so called" fixes for Liveware. After several formats and reinstalls of Win2K , I have decided to wait for Creative to release something that will work.

1. I feel that the comment by ThC 129 was totally uncalled for. 2. I have an HP 8100i and it works great in Win2k. 3. Adaptec Easy CD 4, does not install the latest Win2K compatible aspi driver. For starters, install Adaptec Easy CD 4, do not install Direct CD from the install screen. After installing Easy CD Creator 4, do not restart. Just exit the install screen and then browse the CD for the Direct CD directory. open the Disk1 directory and click on setup.exe to install Direct CD. After installing , do not reboot. Install CDRWin(I use CDRWin 3.7f) then install aspi32.exe from Adaptec. Now you may reboot. All should work fine after rebooting. If you need aspi32.exe , just let me know. Good Luck !

Oops , forgot to mention that. I am on Fat32. I tried NTFS one time and had nothing but trouble. All my drives are Fat32 now.

OK , I finally got NFSHS to install. Terrible graphics. No 3dfx found by the game, it only shows "software rendering". Any help for this ? I have a Voodoo3 2000 with the 3DFX Win2K drivers installed.

I followed the directions. When i click the exe , the ini file disappears and nothing happens.

I recently installed "Beetle Crazy Cup" in Win2K Pro 2195. I played the game four times with no problems. Now it won't play. I get an error that says I have -1725megs disk space(yes negative 1725megs) and the game needs 25megs of drive space to run. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I still get the same error. The drive partition (C:\) has 2.6gigs free. P3 500, Asus P2B98-XV, 160meg ram,SBLive X-gamers, Voodoo3 2000, two 27gig WD Expert drives partitioned at 5gigs/22gigs each.

Well said ! ! If you don't like the way SBLive sounds, dual boot with 98.

Did you check the all important "HCL" ? -
Will 16 bit hardware work in Win2K 2195 ? ie: Texas Instrument 1211-PCI Card Bus Controller (16 bit hardware)
